I used to know Dan Collins. He and I were in the same young adult group at our Catholic parish. St. Phillip in Pasadena CA. Maybe 1991-1992. Yes, he was very competent and also conservative. I was single and husband-hunting at the time but wasn’t really interested in him. He is of modest stature and I had the awkward feeling that I probably outweighed him.
