Schumer gives Trump a quick bit of advice in Twitter feud
Fox News ^ | May 28 2020 | Michael Ruiz

Sen. Chuck Schumer jabbed at President Trump on Twitter Thursday after the commander in chief’s public dispute with the social media giant earlier this week.

“If President Trump doesn’t like Twitter, he can do everyone a favor and stop tweeting,” the Democratic senator tweeted.

The disagreement grew out of Twitter’s decision this week to fact-check one of President Trump’s tweets – the first time it has done so.

This is the plan. Cut him off from his supporters. If he loses Twitter, the press will be more powerful filtering his information.

Here’s the problem with Twitter. We’d like to see it as a private company that can control what they want. The First Amendment doesn’t apply to private companies, just government. What happens, though, when the company becomes an extension of government? That’s what’s happening here. Twitter wants to muzzle Trump to help his political opponents. They will use DNC propaganda to “fact check” his tweets. Schumer’s showing the coordination here... Trump can just not use Twitter... goal accomplished for DNC and Twitter... in coordination.

Look here Schmuck! If we had a decent and honest press instead of another arm of the left in this country the President could get his message. I’m not surprised you want him to quit Tweeting (I guess that’s the word)......because he shows you and your cohort Peeloosley and the left for what you really are......anti-American, Globalists, Open Border radicals hell bent on destroying this country!

Just another reason you should have Orde4red AG Barr to ARREST AND PROSECUTE Schumer for his Terrorist Criminal Threats against a Sitting Supreme Court Justice.

One of the things I’ve really gotten to like about Trump is how he’s known this giant so and so going back years and years in New York politics and knows how to stand up to him and his brethren.

the words “fact checking” should be in quotes. and then “(editorializing)” added.

No President has communicated like this and pointed out stuff that we might not know. He’s right more times than he is wrong.

If the main stream media wasn’t so dishonest then Trump wouldn’t have to tweet all the time

The President has other ways of communicating with his supporters. It’s the White House for cryin’ out loud.

I agree in part: this is the President’s primary way to go over the media’s heads so just a bit more carefully done sometimes is what I’d counsel. That said, Schumer’s advice should never be rejected out of hand: it was he that warned Trump not to upset the intelligence agencies of they’d find ways to get back at him. Better advice has never been spoken
