A Virginia police chief grew emotional as he recounted rioters torching a home with a child inside, saying that it was “unacceptable.”

Richmond Police Chief Will Smith repeatedly stopped to compose himself as he detailed how protesters blocked the fire department from responding to a multi-family residence that was set ablaze early Sunday during George Floyd demonstrations.

I want Trump to see this.

It is time to use the Insurrection Act and knock out this criminal organization....including those that help them like Hollywood providing funding.

Stop crying and arrest, or do what needs to be done to, the murderers to protect citizens.

That may not be necessary. Many state and local officials will not act to protect the property rights of their residents, but are actually aiding and abetting the law breakers in their destruction and thievery. Trump could, therefore, invoke Eisenhower’s justification:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Posse_Comitatus_Act#2006%E2%80%9307_suspension
[In the mid-20th century, the administration of President Dwight D. Eisenhower used an exception to the Posse Comitatus Act, derived from the Enforcement Acts, to send federal troops into Little Rock, Arkansas, during the 1957 school desegregation crisis. The Arkansas governor had opposed desegregation after the United States Supreme Court ruled in 1954 in the Brown v. Board of Education that segregated public schools were unconstitutional. The Enforcement Acts, among other powers, allowed the president to call up military forces when state authorities were either unable or unwilling to suppress violence that were in opposition to the citizens’ constitutional rights.[5]]

What if the governor of the state in question refuses them access?

Or does the order override that?

BTW thanks for the information.

I see a Federal prison cell in his future. No governor has bucked a sitting president on this kind of stuff, that I’ve heard of. Faubus backed down, as did Wallace. If any Dem governor wants to try his luck ...

Unacceptable? UNACCEPTABLE?! It's damn barbaric! But what does the chief expect if animals are given free reign to destroy and loot and pillage? That they will somehow govern their own behavior? They will not. They must be put down.

I’ve always found that phrase, “unacceptable”, to be a weak, Leftist parlance.

Hillary used to, and still does, use it all the time.

As though anyone gives a s__t what you can accept, or not. If it keeps happening, is your head going to explode?

Apparently, it is acceptable, Mr. Police Chief.

Stop them.
