I watched the video. It shows nothing that is claimed. It only shows that the police had bricks in that truck (if they were even police). Could be seized material. No one is ‘carefully placing [them] on a pallet.’

To summarize this thread debunking claims made about this video:

The location is a facility owned by the privately-owned Northeastern University for use by their police department. In other words, they are campus cops. Hat tip to FReeper IndispensableDestiny for this Google street view link:

https://goo.gl/maps/g5Ek4PC7rq2aB3uu8

The Northeastern Police Twitter account mentions this video and states that the bricks were from deteriorated sidewalks in the area:

https://twitter.com/northeasternpd?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Eauthor

A street view at the stated location clearly shows brick sidewalks:

The mysterious all black vehicle with the number on top is owned by the Northeastern University police, not by the Boston municipal police department (whose vehicles are blue and white). Here’s a picture of another of Northeastern Police vehicle which is almost all black and clearly has a 4-digit number on top:

Claims that the people in this video are Boston municipal cops are false and most likely intended to fuel anti-cop hysteria regardless of facts.

Ping to brick stashes being found:

Piles of Bricks Mysteriously Show Up at Riot Hotspots

Boston Police Truck Filled With Bricks

“A video clip, shared by a Twitter user named Alexander Parker, shows two Boston Police officers unloading bricks from their truck inside what appears to be an alleyway as they carefully place them on a brick pallet on the right-side of the vehicle. The truck’s bed is filled to the brim with hundreds of bricks.

The person recording the video points out that the bricks could be for undercover police officers or agent provocateurs that are getting involved in the protests to encourage violence so that police have an “excuse to beat the s**t out of them.”

The video has garnered more than 350,000 views and racked up hundreds of comments with many claiming the police are “planting” bricks at protest sites and streets, which they claim is a tactic used to turn peaceful protests violent and justify the use of excessive force on rioters.”

In Boston?

They are stealing the bricks. They probably have their brother coming by in the pick up. They are re-doing their patio in Southie.

Why isn’t anyone investigating this? We’ve known about it all week.

Because these bricks show up in areas where they are clearly going to be used in renovations.

You simply don’t move that many landscaping bricks without being able to track down their origin in about ten minutes.

I am never surprised at the silly conspiracy theories people on FR fall for.

Next we will hear they are really the bricks used in the construction of the school in Newtown.

Because it’s probably not true.
