Trump, Biden win Pa. primary contests amid unrest, pandemic

HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) — Pennsylvania held a primary election Tuesday amid civil unrest, a pandemic, the introduction of new voting machines in some counties and the debut of mail-in balloting that pushed county election bureaus to their limits.

The result of the highest-profile contest on the ballot was a foregone conclusion: President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden, uncontested for their party's nominations, both won their primary Tuesday in Pennsylvania.

The lack of drama in the outcome of the presidential primary and the huge number of voters who opted to vote by mail meant turnout was light.

Sanders: 149,918 (19.19%)
Gabbard: 29,332 (3.76%)
Total Rat Votes: 781,088

Republicans
Trump: 785,263 (94.46%)
Weld: 34,815 (4.19%)
De La Fuente: 11,264 (1.35%)
Total Republican Votes: 831,342

Yes, that seems true considering the (D) primary involved somewhat of an actual contest while the Republican one did not.

Yikes... How many of those Gabbard and Bernie voters are Never Biden... considering even the total doesn’t touch Trump’s # this has to concern them. He’s still gotta sure up his base.

It’s worst than that. He has to get 100% of the Bernie and Gabbard vote. I know it’s just a primary but the enthusiasm gap doesn’t help him on November either
