BREAKING NEWS … According to Senator Ann Rivers (18th Legislative District), whose office was briefed today by the Employment Security Department (ESD), the unemployment check fraud case is now approaching $1 billion in lost state funds.

Originally, the suspected fraud loss was $350 million.

“The ESD fraud case is beyond anything originally suspected,” said Rivers. “Nearly $1 billion has been lost to Nigeria and other fraudsters.”

State officials have no clue how much has been stolen. First it was $350 million. Then it was $650 million. Jay Inslee and his ESD chief have probably been lying all along about the loss amount.

Washington is the base for Microsoft and Amazon.

It figures they can’t code well.

The woman directly responsible for this is Suzi LeVine.

I wonder who this Suzi LeVine is ?

“Suzan Gail LeVine (born November 17, 1969) was sworn in as the United States Ambassador to Switzerland and Liechtenstein on May 30, 2014 and took up her position in Bern on June 2, 2014.

Reflecting her work in technology, LeVine took her oath of office while placing a hand on a Kindle containing the U.S. Constitution and, thereby, became the first U.S. official to be sworn in on an e-reader.

She resigned her post in Bern on January 20, 2017.

On July 9, 2018, she joined Governor Jay Inslee’s cabinet as the new Washington State Commissioner for the Employment Security Department.

..In 2006, she and Rabbi Rachel Nussbaum co-founded The Kavana Cooperative, a post-denominational innovative approach to building a meaningful Jewish community.

She won the Microsoft Alumni Foundation “Beacon Award” in 2013 for community leadership and inspiration, the Helen M. Jackson “Woman of Valor” award in 2008, and the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle Spitzer Young Leadership award in 2007.

In 2012, she was awarded a Wexner Fellowship for her leadership in the Seattle Jewish community.

She currently serves as a Deputy National Finance Chair for the DNC and as an Advisory Council Member for the NDRC (National Democratic Redistricting Council).”

“Nearly $1 billion has been lost to Nigeria and other fraudsters.”

I wonder how much actually went into the pockets of the Administrators, blamed on outsiders.

And they want people to trust them with mail-in ballots.

One might guess that insiders knew the weak points, and just went to some off-shore situation (maybe not even Nigeria)...then laid out the plan to execute the applications, run the money quickly through some Caribbean bank, and divide the ‘loot’ up.

You would think that the FBI would drawn into this and really involved by this point. That doesn’t seem to be the case. That’s why I think insiders knew the plan.

Good info.

Added anecdote I know 4 people who have had their info used to open unemployment claims. All have been employed through out the lock down.

I haven’t seen an event in the IT field as hilarious as that since the editor of Computer World essentially endorsed Barack Obama as potentially better than sliced bread—all the while lamenting the disproportionate minority representation in the industry.
The cultural revolution force was strong in that editor.
He was expressing hopes and aspirations for his family too—which is worth a mention.
Not wanting anything that works to work well—leaving well enough alone wasn’t good enough.
Social justice applied to computer system—fail.
That monomaniac governor deserves what he is getting.

Indian H1Bs. Even when Colorado was upgrading its system, filthy dot Indian body ships were the only way to apply for a position (straight from the Colorado Workforce Jobs portal). Jobs linked to a Indian recruiter.

I certainly hope WE in the rest of the country won’t be funding WA for their idiocy and subsequent shortfall. YOUR govt. lost the money, you Washington folks live with that.

“ And they want people to trust them with mail-in ballots.”

You are kidding...really you have to be. This state is the such a lost cause no one, and I mean no one, takes its electoral process seriously.

Look up the Dino Rossi election results.
