New York City may have reached a major milestone in its battle against coronavirus as no new deaths were reported between Tuesday and Wednesday.

According to preliminary data from the city's health department, zero additional deaths were confirmed within a 24-hour period between those two days.

Officials cautioned that it's still possible that the number could be upgraded due to lag times in reporting, and because the three probable coronavirus deaths during that period are still under investigation.

They said there might be 2.5 million deaths in the U.S.

As of now there have been 0.32 million deaths worldwide.

> no new coronavirus deaths in a single day for the first time since mid-March

How is that possible when thousands of people did exactly the opposite of what Fauci said and crowded into the streets? I’m beginning to wonder if the experts aren’t always honest. Naah... that’s crazy talk.

P.S. Still waiting for the ozone hole to kill everyone.

That’s not what the WaPo count says for NY. It says 59 dead Thursday the 4th, 54 dead on the 3rd, 96 on the 2nd, and 58 on June 1st. Here’s the link:

The incubation period is 13 days.
The riots started 10 days ago.
Once the infection begins, after incubation, it takes another two weeks to see deaths.

We should be seeing a big new spike in positive cases any day now ... if the social distancing, isolation and masks were actually effective measures.

I don’t think we will see jack.

My how things change.

Coronavirus incubation period may be much longer than once thought February 13, 2020

The incubation period for COVID-19 could be as long as 24 days — 10 days more than previously understood, a new study says.

Will the science ever be settled?
