CNN opted not to air President Trump's remarks on Friday's surprise jobs report showing 2.5 million jobs were added to the economy in May, with MSNBC carrying the comments partially, and Fox News, ABC, NBC and CBS carrying the speech from the Rose Garden in full.
The president was in a celebratory mood following the report that the unemployment rate dropped from 14.7 percent in April to 13.3 percent in May.
Analysts had expected the report would show unemployment rising to as high as 20 percent, and the new figures suggested an economic rebound could come more quickly. Stocks jumped higher on the news.
Trump touted the numbers, but also used the Rose Garden event to talk about the protests surrounding George Floyd, an unarmed black man whose death in the custody of Minneapolis police has outraged much of the country.
"We're bringing our jobs back," Trump told reporters on Friday morning. "We're gonna be back there. I think we're actually going to be back there higher next year than ever before."

Thats because Zucker would not allow it.
The ilks at CNN are so envious of our President and His family.
So the 3 CNN viewers didn’t see it. That’s good for them. CNN knows this news will spawn heart attacks. They are doing a service by not carrying it.
> Analysts had expected the report would show unemployment rising to as high as 20 percent
Experts.
Of course they are not..they are too busy crying over the fact that Americans are going back to work..now they are going to have to come up with the next phony crisis to help them in November..I figured out what CNN stood for way back in 2006 when they referred to Israel as “murderers” CNN is truly the enemy of America
Fishy
I drive the San Francisco Bay Area Highways and for 3 months the Fast Track lanes were free.
Tuesday they announced they were going back to charging for being in the lanes since traffic is back to 80%.
That is a lie and traffic is still at less than 50%.
There is literally no rush hour and I never tap my brakes going anywhere.
Fremont and all up the West of Bay are ghost towns.
San Francisco may as well have been nuked for how many people are at work in their offices.
42 million people lost their jobs out of a work force of 167 million. That was 20% unemployed and last week another 2 million went on unemployment.
So, how are we adding jobs?
There is nowhere in the Bay Area we added jobs.
Another report said the uptick was because Dentists went back to work?
BS. They are business owners or independent and that would be a whole hell of a lot of Dentists going back to full staff, which they cannot possibly do with the restrictions.
CNN needs their license pulled!!
None of the CNN “journalists” could stop crying long enough to air the story.
We are actually going on a flight at the end of the month and were not looking forward to having to endure seeing CNN while we are at the airport.
So you’re saying that President Trump lied about the jobs report
CNN is a cable network.
There is no FCC broadcast license involved.
Nope
someone lied to him
how many of those new jobs were as paid protesters? Maybe all 2.5 million of them... just saying
So San Francisco didnt contribute to the drop in unemployment...who said it did? The drop in unemployment happened despite San Francisco. Most of the country will be back to work well before CA; so that in Sept and Oct, Trumps employment numbers will still be improving BECAUSE of California.
Right before the election!
Makes you wonder if there is anything else CNN misses.
Experts.
Experts. Is there anything they don't know? (There; finished your sentence for you.)
CNN doesn’t air Trump jobs report remarks.
Doesnt matter. Nobody with even a half a brain watches the Communist news network, anyway.
Sadly they saw a leap in their ratings, along with everyone else, due to COVID and the riots. Seems they now have a captive audience, as small as it is.
