Same thing happened during the 1967 race riots in Milwaukee. WW II vets set up blockades on the 6th st viaduct - the road between white and black neighborhoods - and manned them with riflemen.

Cicero isn’t somewhere you want to push things. There’s still a significant “old school” Italian population that resides there. And they have significant “business interests” if you know what I mean.
I’d advise the rioters and looters to remain in Chicago if they know what’s good for them.
