We lived in a suburb near Milwaukee during the 1980s and a lot of the Jews allowed out of soviet Russia came and lived there as Milwaukee had a long tradition of assisting Jewish immigrants. Those that came and we met were good additions as they were educated and most spoke passable English.

I am concerned about Seattle which has a sizeable proportion of Orthodox Jews.
