Skip to comments. Why Keep Voting Republican? Because We Need Trump to Keep Fighting

RUSH: Now, I realize something. I realize a lot of you are just pulling your hair out. Youre at wits end. Everything that you can. You voted for Trump, you knew exactly what he wanted to do, you wanted him to succeed. You had no idea the opposition to Trump would be this bad.
You had no idea these people would never give up you had no idea and so now youre saying, Why even bother voting Republican? Our streets are burning to hell. Democrat cities and states are being taken over by the mob, and were now living under mob rule in many places. People who own private property are losing it. Theyre having it stolen.
Its being looted, you name it. Nobodys stopping them. Nobodys pushing back on any of this. So youre saying, Why vote Republican, and why worry about Supreme Court justice nominations when they just end up betraying us? Heres the answer: Because even now, there is no reasonable alternative. There isnt anybody else to vote for.
You certainly cant vote for the Democrats. Trump has to have another term. He has to have another term to keep whacking away at all of this. Find the next Justice Thomas, find the next Samuel Alito, find the next whatever. We dont any more Sotomayors or Kagans or Ruth Buzzi Ginsburgs. But you cant quit, cant surrender. You reelect Trump, and you keep at it.
Its like, in a way, lets say youre a general manager for an NFL team. If I could, I would pick a team off top head. Lets say that you keep blowing it in the draft, that you havent had a first-round pick make the roster in five years. Youre just blowing every first-round draft pick. Every first-round draft choice the NFL ought to make the team.
There are that many good players in the first round. Every first-round pick ought to make team but you work for a team thats picking loser in the first round. You dont stop drafting, do you? You keep team building despite past mistakes. You keep trying. You keep drafting players.
You hope to get it right down the road. You may change general managers. You may change the people drafting. Were engaged in a battle for the kind of country that were going to have. And I actually believe that this cultural revolution that we find of ourselves in the middle of is gonna start eating itself, which they all do at some point.
Limbaugh is right. I would say for starters:
1)Recall bad governors.
2)Study local Rep incumbents very carefully for ringers.
3)Contribute money or time to worthwhile groups/causes.
4)Do not accept every headline you see, from whatever point of view.
I don’t know, it really seems we are rapidly approaching where voting is a waste of time, and that time is better spent preparing yourself for the coming firestorm.
Because the D party has turned from a generally leftish but still somewhat liberal (in the classic sense of the term) party into an evil hard-core Commie/Nazi front group that’s undermining our Republic and our individual liberties every day of every week of the year.
President Trump could have a melt down on TV and I would still vote for him. The Democrats have really show they are not for the USA. If President Trump is not re-elected it is the end of the USA.
The media can publish all the false headlines they want, Americans know what is at stake. Trump must be re-elected.
We must get out there and really work to get good people in office.
I remember when Trump won, Rush predicted the media frenzy about would die in about 6 weeks. It didn’t. The frenzy only grew and it grew consistently up to the point we are at right now, with no indication of letting off the gas.
“I dont know, it really seems we are rapidly approaching where voting is a waste of time, and that time is better spent preparing yourself for the coming firestorm.”
It doesn’t take that much time to vote.
“President Trump could have a melt down on TV and I would still vote for him.”
Same here. If the Dems can watch Slow Joe melt down virtually every time he appears on TV, that’s the least we can do.
Since Jul 18, 2019
Ditto here too. I would never vote for third party candidate and definitely not for a demonrat.
During this calendar year, I sent checks to the Trump Campaign, Jason Lewis for US Senate as well as three legislative races here in Minnesota.
The three races are currently held by Democrats but are very flappable.
Folks, Dennis Prager (and I’m paraphrasing him) said something to the effect about everyone needing to be a fighter. if you can’t fight by dropping lit or making phone calls, write some checks.
It’s still early in the campaign. Money DOES make a difference in a candidates viability.
Let’s take a page from the pro-Dem group EMILY’s List. EMILY stands for Early Money Is Like Yeast. We may not like what this group stands for but they are spot on about early money making a difference!
let’s do this!
So lets have a Dictatorship, huh?
Ill take things that never happened tor $1000, Alex.
Rush said no such thing, or anything remotely in the neighborhood of anything like that, ever.
As Rush has said on the air multiple times, it was TRUMP who thought that, and said so to Rush directly early on. Rush laughed and told him, Mr. President, they are NEVER going to accept you, try to get along with you, or stop fighting you. It is only going to get worse.
Give me a break.
Name ANY PAC of Trump’s that I can give to that is NOT affiliated with the NRSCC, the NR something and I will up my donations. Every danged thing that comes in the mail is affiliated with the Repub national Committe of this and that. They take my money and elect Mitt Romney, Toomey and probably a lot of Democrats.
Did I disagree with you?
What is your point?
Trump is a one-off.
Unless you have reams of candidates for GOP Congress, Senate, and local offices who have Trump’s characteristics, such as:
2)record of performance in some area
3)lots of personal $$$
4)no ambition for future positions
you are going to run into a different kettle of fish when vetting all these candidates. This all has to be considered.
Further, situations like the George Floyd video have to also be considered meaning people need to get past their initial emotional reactions. As well as other kinds of headlines; it isn’t always a headline about something the Dems have engineered.
Yep and Pray that the lord takes RBG post haste!
Because every lazy worthless person is being handed a Ballot
by the DEms with the Dem names all checked off.
Of course the LAzy/worthless will vote for WHOEVER promises to HAnd them the Most Goodies -
and the Dems are the Handout Kings.
Yep or someone who feels guilty to even consider voting for President Trump.
