Right-wing extremists are turning cars into weapons, with reports of 50 vehicle-ramming incidents since protests against police violence erupted nationwide in late May.
At least 18 are categorized as deliberate attacks; another two dozen are unclear as to motivation or are still under investigation, according to a count released Friday by Ari Weil, a terrorism researcher at the University of Chicago's Chicago Project on Security and Threats. Weil has tracked vehicle-ramming attacks, or VRAs, since protests began.

These “attacks” would not occur of the roadway were not being illegally blocked. And no one wants to sit there while a bunch of protestors beat on your vehicle.
Ari Weill is a PhD student at U of Chicago. I would put significant dollars down betting that he is the typical social justice privilege ignoramus who has the right connections and parentally defined pedigree to get into U of Chicago. He should work on becoming aware of the reality of the world around him, instead of becoming another ‘higher education’ PhD parasite on society.

That’s more a case of self-defense by vehicle, since drivers know they’ll probably be beaten to death if the mob drags them from the car. So you either save yourself or you take as many with you as possible.

Vehicle attacks. Could be, but the videos I’ve seen look more like ordinary people trying to avoid being yanked out and beaten to death by moving forward. To avoid being struck by cars, don’t play in the street, don’t block the highways, and don’t threaten people who are just trying to get somewhere.
