LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville police said two men assaulted people outside O'Shea's, leaving one of the victims unable to communicate.
Louisville Metro Police Department is asking the public's help in identifying the suspects. The assault took place around 3 a.m. Friday on Baxter Avenue.
LMPD posted a video of the assault on its Facebook page.

One of the victims is in the intensive care unit and is unavailable to communicate, according to a news release. All three victims required medical treatment.
Police said they believe one of the suspects, who wears white hat in the video, may be named Matt. Both suspects will be charged with second-degree assault, police said.
Police asked that anyone with information about the incident call 574-LMPD.

But it annoys me that in a piece like this, either the writer or the police don't give a more detailed description of the assailant(s). Race, weight, height etc.

I don't know what a charge of second decree assault means, but putting a man in ICU unable to communicate is pretty darn bad. Seems more like attempted murder. Of course we all know from watching movies that this kind of beating only results in bruises and maybe cracked ribs. Vic are up and around in 5 minutes.
Black on white crime...no one cares.

Allowing us free will is really important to God, but free will works both ways. Usually just things like the Romans tearing the nonviolent Rabbi Akiva's flesh with iron combs because he violated the Roman edict against teaching Holy Scripture to students. He was hounded and murdered----free will again. God let it happen possibly to give the Romans a chance to ask for forgivness and to mend their ways. Didn't happen.
In Butler's Lives of the Saints, one innocent Catholic saint refused to pray to a pagan Roman god and was thrown to two lions by the Romans and quickly torn to pieces to die. Free will.
WWII: God allows free will as millions of all races die in Russia, concentration camps, Philippines, and all over. But He apparently now didn't want all good people to sit meekly crouched in prayer as thugs beat them to death. He allowed us to fight back under Allied Commanders.
But our free will may prevail someday.
