Over the past few weeks, as the Black Lives Matter movement has grown following outrage over the killing of George Floyd, high school students have leveraged every social media platform to call out their peers for racist behavior.

Many students believe the only consequence their peers will take seriously is having their college admissions letter rescinded. “I’m not trying to target freshmen or middle schoolers, but people who are about to go to college need to be held accountable for what they say,” said Anamika Arya, the 16-year-old administrator of @Smithtown_Racist_Callouts, which is focused on Smithtown, N.Y. “People who go to college end up becoming racist lawyers and doctors. I don’t want people like that to keep getting jobs,” Mx. I got into it on FB some weeks back when a sanctimonious message came out from our local pub(l)ic schools.
It was basically about all this, including “racially charged” comments on “social media”.
I posted directly to their message on FB as it being outrageous that they would HAVE ARRESTED people snitched on social media OUTSIDE SCHOOL BOUNDS and then PRESS CHARGES for “hate crimes”!
This is far outside acceptable.
But no, I myself am just branded racist and get lots of self-righteous “I can’t believe we have such people here” (hint: *I* am native)” and angry faces and shocked faces.

My local high school has now been targeted . A black girl set up a website asking for students to name a racist teacher. They have gone after some of the teachers who I know for a fact as I know them are not racist, but more conservative.
Many have targeted one Spanish teacher who is tough .
This is dangerous as we now have kids basically bullying and asking for certain teachers they do not like to be fired or labeled a racist.
