CNN Reporter Bruna Macedo Mugged at Knifepoint During Live Report
Breitbart ^ | 07/02/20 | Pam Key

0:55 Live on CNN Brasil, reporter Bruna Macedo was robbed at knifepoint during her report on rising water levels from heavy rain at Bandeiras Bridge in São Paolo on Saturday.

Macedo greeted the man, who pulled out a knife. As Macedo stepped back, the camera cut to the scene of a rain-soaked street. Macedo then handed the robber two mobile phones.

After the robbery, host Rafael Colombo said, “It was impossible to understand at the time what was happening if it was a homeless person passing by. But after what happened, we cut the image.”

He continued, “He threatened, and she handed over a cell phone, but he knew she had two because she has a private and a corporate one.”

He added, “She had a terrible scare, but she is fine.”

“It was impossible to understand at the time what was happening if it was a homeless person passing by.”

If she was mugged by a “homeless person” it would have been fine since he was just looking for a better life....or something.

But doesn’t the mugger know the reporter is liberal and on his side?

Was it a special report on de-fund the police?

A former employer of mine (ABN AMRO, a large multi-national Dutch bank) had operations in São Paolo. It's a very high-crime city.

Two fellow employees of mine were robbed of their laptops and cellphones back in 2005 as they crossed the street from our Operations Center to the Hotel they were staying in.

Quite literally, they couldn't cross the street in broad daylight to get to their hotel without getting robbed.

TWICE, on the same trip.

This is in Brazil.

Brazil is all set to explode from all this, since half their population is descended from slaves.

Was it a mugger or alleged mugger.

I do not know why people think highly of Brazil. The place is a crime infested third world sewer.

De-fund the police in Brazil would be national suicide.

Pretty much because there was no law down there and it was like visiting a party frontier. I was told once that I could not hike a particular set of mountain North of Mongugua because “they” would eat me. I tried correcting my friend to say kill me but they didn’t change the word.

This is first Brazilian mugging video where the mugger wasn’t capped 10 seconds in.

When REAL NEWS happens the CNN camera is pointed away from it.

Most ‘liberals’ are actually conservatives who haven’t been mugged yet.

Wow, perhaps was time to get a better hotel... I had an office in SP on Faria Lima and stayed in a hotel next door: safety never a concern in Jardim. Stray from there, well... then you might as well be in Chicago, including at some of the downtown major hotels, which your colleagues probably used.

This incident was near the Sao Paulo municipal center, but on the edge of some marginal neighborhoods.

That's the America that the Left wants: self-protected elite neighborhoods surrounded by victims of same elites' policies.
