With protesters descending on the Hamptons this summer, rich New Yorkers with second homes on the East End are looking for more protection than just their hedges. Wealthy Hamptonites are rushing to hire security guards to keep them safe from the threat of unrest, The Post has learned. Charlie McArdle, co-founder of CM Security Consulting, says business is booming in the moneyed enclave, and that he’s gotten a flood of calls after Thursday’s protests, which targeted the Hamptons homes of figures such as Mayor Mike Bloomberg, real estate mogul Stephen Ross and Blackstone CEO Steven Schwarzman.

I don't think any have the balls to go against SpecOp security. My guess is, they will move on strip malls in the suburbs next. That will start it, and I'll be there like the Koreans in the LA riots. Exactly, private security is not like the group in “13 hrs”. They didn’t make a valiant stand for money there, it was for a much bigger cause. Working for Bathhouse Barrys neighbors, and his ilk, they will not be so motivated to win or die.

I have explained on FR and other boards how I checked out a commune in the 60's. It failed two weeks later because everyone expected the same benefits, but many didn't want to work for those benefits. Many just wanted to play bongos and sing Kumbaya.
