So do they first stand for their black skin color anthem and then kneel for the everyone else’s skin color anthem? Is there an anthem for non binary folks? This is so confusing.

I can think of a few ways to protest the singing/playing of an anthem other than the Star Spangled Banner.
1. Do you think some might just start singing out very loudly the Star Spangled Banner when the other anthem starts, thereby drowning out the other anthem?
2. Do you think some might start chanting U.S.A. very loudly while the other anthem is played, thereby drowning out the other anthem?
3. Do you think some might stand with your back to the field in defiance of the other anthem?
4. Do you think some might hold up your hand and ‘speak’ the numbers 17 and 76 (for 1776) in American Sign Language. See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jjvzIgFNY9Q @ 0:41 for “17” and then @ 3:03 for “76”?
5. Do you think some might raise a hand with a singular finger extended, corresponding to the longest finger on your hand to celebrate the greatest digit?

Yet when BLM activist murdered 5 Dallas police officers the NFL would not allow the Cowboys to put something on their uniforms to honor those officers.
I am done with the NFL
The first game of the season will have huge numbers of empty seats, greatly embarrassing the NFL.
But after that, the home team owners will send sound trucks through the nearby inner city neighborhoods, giving out as many free tickets as they need in order to fill the empty seats, so they can claim, "See? See! We're popular once again!"
Of course, this will create other new problems they'll have to contend with. Even though the camera operators will be forbidden to show violence in the stands between rival gangs, it'll be pretty tough for the announcers to ignore the sounds of gunshots, which will reverberate around and around the stadium.
I suppose the NFL will blame the empty stadiums on Covid-19.
I wonder what will happen when people stop watching on TV. The whole college football “industry” is a feeder or farm team system for the NFL I suspect college football will be next.
