“At least the song is religious-ish?”

It actually is a hymn, and is in some of our hymnals. It didn’t start out as the “Black National Anthem”. “They” just glommed on to it because the author was a black man, and then his brother set it to music. It’s a decent hymn — at least it was before they made it political.

"...the league is considering putting names of victims of police brutality on helmet decals or jersey patches..."

Don't forget, the NFL refused to allow the Dallas Cowboys to honor the police officers shot in Dallas with a patch.

It's clear where their allegiances lie. I say let their new target market support them.

“For those who don’t know, our LARGEST ethnic minority is NOT really too fond of Blacks.- I’ve worked with too many Latinos, especially Tejanos, to NOT know how a LOT of them feel when only Latinos are around OR they think that the “Gringos” speak NO Spanish..”

I see you noticed that issue, too. The hot and cold race war between Mexicans and blacks is the most under-reported story of the past two decades. The Nazi media doesn’t want people to know that two of the rat’s coalition partners are at war with each other. When the Chicago BLM racists swooped into Mexican neighborhoods to burn sh*t down, the Mexicans set up barricades and armed up with AKs and beat the snot out of the BLM racists.

I think there is very little uniting about that group. Even Zora Neale Hurston referred to them as “Crabs in a barrel.”

I am finally cutting the cord and ditching the NFL. F them. As for college football, I have always been the biggest Bama fan. However, after Saban and the team came out with their “all lives don’t matter until black lives matter” video they can go to hell as well. I can’t believe I am saying this as I know us Bama fans are every bit as crazy as yankee fans. It comes down to the fact that the war in this country is more important than football or any other woke sport.

“They won’t. Search “iowa fans support protest.” The U of Iowa players said support protests or don’t come to the games.”

They have lost their bloody minds.

What is the proper show of respect when the black national anthem is playing? Loot a store? Stop paying child support? Guzzle a 40 of malt liquor?

I must agree.

They BEGGED us to stop watching. why?

And why are republicans AND people who call themselves conservatives not able to give things up, or too many at least?

I thought dems were the hedonistic ones.

I am lol

But SLAP after SLAP after SLAP in the face is enough.

It was almost impossible to lose me this year.

They found a way.

It’s the Boss’ board and although my vote doesn’t matter :), if there’s an NFL thread this year I won’t bash it or curse the people on it.

Hell I can name a dozen left wing owner created products I use. But none has gone this far. Most don’t have the social platform nfl and sports in general do.

But this may be one of very few things some sick and elderly get to enjoy. I try not to judge.

But I don’t know if the Boss is gonna let it stay up this year.
