Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin and her husband of more than 30 years, Todd Palin, quietly finalized their divorce this spring, according to court records.
Though the case has long been sealed from public view, the publicly available docket shows their divorce was granted on March 23 after a non-contested hearing, which an Alaska court official confirmed.

Is she going back to her maiden name since she divorced? Her maiden name is Heath...
Don't most women go back to using their maiden names after the divorce?
So sarah palin is available? I have a one in a million chance to date her? omg theres a chance!.
She has been treated horribly by the commie media and rinos. I’m sure that didn’t help. But who knows? Hopefully she doesn’t get together with some liberal like Mary Matlin and James Carville.
sad.
Divorce is always so sad.
All that Ive known/heard about.
Usually not after a 30 year marriage and also especially not after lots of children, at least thats the way it used to be.
Thats very sad to hear. Living a public life made tumultuous by constant media(D) attacks can put a strain on any marriage.
There was something on this months ago. This wasn’t a
surprise to me. I don’t like to see long term couples
break up. It’s a sad thing.
My best friend who’s a conservative in most respects that I can think of, impassioned vote for Ted Cruz in the primaries, still solid support for Trump....he hated Sarah Palin during 2008, thought she was incredibly stupid...just could not stand to listen to her speak. It does make me feel sad and angry the absolute travesty in which the media successfully framed this woman. The power of the MSM is so significant, and we can scoff at them, but they definitely run this country.
Sometimes people just grow apart. It happens.
Van Jones, the radical leftwing communist & racist, once acknowledged the left was terrified after Sarah’s stunning VP acceptance speech. Jones stated Sarah HAD to be destroyed.
I love Palins politics, and Ill be the first to admit that theres nothing to this other than my own bias, but I really have a hard time taking someone who names her children Track, Bristol, Willow, Piper and Trig. This is like the white version of those Scrabble-board ghetto names you see in crime stories all the time.
You need to call it what it is, the term "White Trailer Trash," comes to mind.
I'm guessing here but Bristol, for "Bristol Bay Alaska," Willow name of a tree. Piper, named after an airplane, Trig, short for Trigonometry is a branch of mathematics that studies relationships between side lengths and angles of triangles.
As a father of three daughter's, I couldn't see myself and the late wife, (47 yr's of marriage) naming our girl's after object's. Just not feeling the "LUV." (Normally I'd go with "Love.") But hey, each their own I guess.
I always thought the names must be an Alaska thing. Like the Iditarod.
Never thought of that part but I can sympathize with you on that point, because I have the same bias towards tattoos.
Prayers for both of them and their children and whatever the future they have.
Too darn bad.
She really loved that man.
Wish her the best.

In the last 20+ years, “unique” names is the fashion - many parents are caught up in making sure their children stand out from all the rest...as their children are probably going to be average. Wall Street Journal had an article about this trend quite a number of years ago - it pointed out that some of the unique names were socially damaging to the children, or could be later in life. Seems Palins were on the front edge of this but their reasons for naming children could be different.
Might be related to people who embrace the Alaska unconventional (for the lower 48) independent-type isolation culture. There is no indoors in Alaska, a beautiful state. I’ll ask some of my Alaska relatives for their take.
Wish they did. I have family members who still get collection calls for my ex after 25 years.
