Election time. A little pandering is in order.
Has Antifa been declared terrorists, no. Has travel/business with countries not accepting back deportees been stopped (a campaign promise), no. I could go on and on. My point is not to dump on President Trump, who I support, but to say, Stop, Don't Do This! Do not give amnesty.

He already proposed DACA amnesty for 1.8 million people (he doubled what the Democrats were demanding) way back when, and then the democrats refused to come to the table (the famous empty chair meeting with Pelosi and Schummer)
So it would not be surprising if president Trump does the same thing unilaterally (maybe he will make it triple this time).
I think he needs to change the narrative. The BLM is a disaster, they are getting momentum, and no matter how evil and racists they are they are portrayed in the media as victims ‘fighting racism’.
So he will call it a loss and deflect the narrative to the hispanic vote.
You are never going to politically get the mass deportation of people who were brought into the United States as small children, never going to happen..
May not like it but that’s the political reality... house and Senate are not going to do it ans Supreme Court has shown it will protect them.
So we remain in this idiotic stalemate indefinitely,
So we can work on a path that requires serious behaviors to get there or we can have the Democrats mass amnesty then, next time they have control.

They never will, and are all too willing to read into his statements and make declarations that don’t reflect what President Trump actually said.
I don’t see the word Amnesty in that article anywhere, but apparently “a Road to Citizenship” now equates to Amnesty.
We don’t know the details yet, and the requirements for these DACA people could include anything, including “amnesty”, but we simply don’t have the actual details yet.

He said this from the beginning. The reasn he reminded the executive order was he wanted to trade for the border wall. Now the wall is close to completion and he is going to trade it for merit based immigration. If we get merit based immigration that is BIG!

That’s a silly strawman. Illegals self-deport when people stop giving them American jobs and/or American welfare.

Well for starters, there is no way I am going to support sweeping raids to deport millions of people.
Second, it’s asinine to think we can’t win the votes of people of any heritage over with better ideas. They left their home countries to come here for a reason.
Beyond that, I’ll reserve judgement awaiting further details of the plan.
President Kushner and HIS handlers are very pleased. What Trump is saying is a campaign promise he was going to beeak as part of giving it as a demand from Dems as part of a larger deal he is now just going to give on his own as part of an executive order.
If Tucker really were such a truth to power guy, with the powers in his case being both Trump and Fox, he would be zeroing in on the liberty-stealing doings of Fauci, the CDC, Bill Gates, Operation Warp Speed, lining up the military to impose the needless and dangerous vaccine on us all, etc., etc. Big Pharma pays the lion’s share of Fox’s bills, and I am not quite sure why Trump goes along with that other than presumably it is what President Kushner is told to have done.
And were does it stop? We've already go 25% of the Mexican population by some accounts in the US. Will it next be 50%?
