I would. My daughter is a teacher and she does and will. Same for next door neighbor. They will take safety measures, temp, distance and lots sanitizer. Here’s something you don’t hear on TV: No one IN THE WORLD under the age of 14 has died from the virus and kids are only spreaders and consider to be weak spreaders as asymptomatic- do not “project” virus. The overwhelming t majority of those exposed to virus do not catch it, my wife was directly exposed and did not catch it. 90% of those being tested who were exposed do not have it.
It can be done safely.
If you are obese or have other co-morbidity, pulmonary , heart etc stay home
Be safe but try and not panic.
A 6 week old baby died from the China flu in Texas today. If kids dont pose a danger, why was it recommended they stay away from their grandparents?
“If you are obese or have other co-morbidity, pulmonary , heart etc stay home”
That sounds like most teachers.
More than a 3rd of teachers in NV are over 50 years of age.
I don’t yet know the plans of the school I retired from and still sub at. The ones at risk are likely the teachers, not the kids. One had a heart transplant, at least three are recovering cancer patients and I think two are still undergoing treatment for cancer.

Time to end “formal” education at 14-15...
In the U.S. 26 people 14 and under had died from COVID. That's as of June 17 so it could be more. Link.

The CDC doesn't consider children to be less risky or more risky as spreaders. Link

It can, by abiding by the CDC guidelines. The ones that the administration has said are too expensive.
