Biden is talking now, his speech is slurred and he keeps clearing his throat, but I’m amazed he’s been able to read the prompter for 10 min or so, didn’t think he was capable of that.
He looks tan, maybe there’s a tanning bed in his basement.

Biden just finished his “economic speech” this afternoon. Couple of brief points. Everything he said was about things that Trump is doing or has been endeavoring to get done. Biden talked of infrastructure, saying Trump just talks about it without doing anything, totally ignoring the fact that it has been the Dem House (Pelosi) obstructing getting anything done, not Trump who brings up wanting an infrastructure bill over and over.
Biden kept swiveling his head back and forth to read the teleprompters on either side as if he had a huge audience in a large auditorium with people on all sides when in actually he was preaching in a room with no audience.
Biden says environmentally that we only have 9 years left to switch to his climate change plan, before we are all doomed and it will be too late. Only 9 years folks and then we will all die of pollution and the earth will crumble.
These are the highlights I gleaned from Sloppy Joe’s presentation today.
He sounds like a stroke patient, although his brains surgeries + dementia are enough to explain slurred speech.
He certainly didn’t sound like this even a couple years ago.

Rush played a few clips...it was sad. Sleepy is going to reconstruct all buildings, change their lightbulbs and offer millions of jobs. Then he made a crack about POTUS saying LEDs made him look orange. Pathetic.

Trump should read a statement, take one question, filibuster it into a half hour answer and then thank the press and walk away. You know, like Obama.
First and foremost:
I heard Joe Biden emerge today and read a speech that someone else like wrote for him. I was disappointed that Joe’s entire speech dwelled on the American People’s inability to cope with hardship and rise above it. At the core of the beliefs for whoever wrote that speech for Joe Biden is a deep and abiding lack of faith in the American People. What a shame.
In contrast, I believe in the American People.
Joe Biden also had many critical words about the handling of the Coronavirus pandemic. Sadly, he had little in the way of constructive suggestions or a plan on how to deal with the virus. I suppose we would have to look at how he handled the H1N1 virus to realize that the is no surprise. When given the chance to handle a pandemic during the previous administration he did nothing. It is no surprise that he has forgotten this and wants the American People to.
I noted that Joe has also engaged in the tired old practice of blaming any crisis that arises on the Republicans in power. I would encourage Mr. Biden or whoever wrote that speech for him to instead cast his eyes to his good, close and personal friends in China. I don’t imagine he will do that, however, since he seems to be China’s best advocate in the U.S., next to of course certain sports leagues and other entities who have close ecumenic ties to a government that does not have the American People’s best interests at heart.
As for the economic plan he offers, that is, whoever wrote the speech for him offers, it is no shock to find out he holds the fantasy that the Green New Deal is somehow going to create jobs or bring this economy back. It will not. It is designed to destroy this economy and not resurrect it.
Moving on to the virus, we continue to work closely with the Governors in the states seeing a surge. We are encouraging them to learn from the lessons of the states affected earlier. For example, we are hoping that the governors will not follow the same nursing home policies as certain states and instead focus on keeping the most vulnerable in the population isolated and safe. If necessary, we will request that NY and other states return any necessary medical equipment that the requested and in many cases never used. We are confident that they will.
We encourage all states to continue to exercise their judgement in maintaining social distancing and to strike the proper balance between safety and allowing their citizens to earn a living and support their families.
The Covid task force will be addressing this later and I don’t want to get in their way here of any information they might convey.
Finally, let me reiterate my commitment to ensuring that those who would hijack peaceful exercise of the First Amendment are not going to be successful. We will not tolerate the destruction of our heritage. We are making progress in ensuring that violent mobs do not rule our streets.
We will preserve America and keep those who wish to undo its founding principles of freedom and liberty and equal treatment under the law from being successful.

A: Thank you for the question. I agree that the American People should be free and able to determine their own destiny. We can trust them to understand the risks and assess the proper conduct in this age of social distancing.

Biden speech was terrible, substance fact & detail was missing & delivery was boring at best, This guy Biden does not have one ounce of positive MoJo in his entire being!!! Not an inspirational speaker. Biden is toast before he evens begins!!! What a buffoon.

I watched that Biden thing today. Not sure what to call it, he had a podium, flags, teleprompter. Pretended he was talking to people but the room was empty. Low energy.
