Hospitals from across the country will no longer send CCP virus or COVID-19 related data to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and are instead required to send it to a central database in Washington beginning July 15, according to an HHS statement released Friday.
HHS said Vice President Mike Pence sent a letter to hospital administrators across the country asking them to send daily pandemic data on “testing, capacity, utilization, and patient flow” to the federal government.
“The objective is to allow states and hospitals either to leverage existing data reporting capabilities or, where those capabilities are insufficient, to provide guidance in how to build upon existing capabilities,” said the HHS in a statement.
The federal administration said it needs daily information to plan, allocate, and for allocating resources during the public health emergency.
“This data will be used to inform decisions at the federal level, such as allocation of supplies, treatments, and other resources,” said the HHS.
The federal administration said the central database will let it move away from the manual entry process towards an automated one and reduce its data collection burdens.
“We will no longer be sending out one-time requests for data to aid in the distribution of Remdesivir or any other treatments or supplies. This daily reporting is the only mechanism used for the distribution calculations, and the [data] is needed daily to ensure accurate calculations,” said the HHS.
The federal government said since the state governments are already collecting data from the hospitals, they may like to continue doing that.
“Therefore, hospitals may be relieved from reporting directly to the Federal Government if they receive a written release from the State stating that the State will collect the data from the hospitals and take over Federal reporting responsibilities,” said the HHS.

One thing I’ve heard all along is their use of ventilators on people. I watched my mother have Covid/flu like symptoms at 79 back in 2014 and have her doctor admit her and put her on a respirator.
After 2 weeks on that thing, she had to re-learn how to walk, talk, eat and use the bathroom. Not to mention how badly it weakened her system.
For basic flu-like symptoms. She was dead 2 months later.
Folks can argue with me all they want, but I maintain that ventilators do as much harm as good. People shouldn’t be thrown on them ASAP...

IE.....Friend takes family member to local medical center. Family members feels like crap. Family member get paperwork, fills out paperwork and is then told to wait in their car and someone will come get them. After a very significant amount of time, family member says “f*ck it” and goes home. Family member is contacted later that day to learn that they were positive for The ‘Rona.......true story.
Unless Trump imposses serious fines on false COVID reporting, the CDC bypass is nothing. He needs to send a team that can accurately test and find out if this is just a liberal federal funds scam to keep COVID beds full! Expose, fire and fine!

I have a feeling that there are millions of recoveries like that going unreported.
When you consider the fact that health bureaucrats and administrators proudly admit that they err on the side of inclusion, it is impossible that the morbidity of Covod19 is not being vastly overstated.
They routinely attribute deaths to Covid19, even when they KNOW it was not the cause of death! They openly admit this!
Why do they do this? Well, I can think of several motives, some altruistic and some political. Some believe understating the danger would be reckless and encourage irresponsible exposure. Some feel people need to be afraid - they want to scare them into compliance for their own good.
And yes, many desperately want to see President Trump defeated in the fall, and are willing to sabotage his election year peace and prosperity to help make it happen.
Of course, they won’t admit to economic sabotage.
But is so painfully obvious, that you can literally tell a person’s politics by how afraid they purport to be of Covid19!!
If you don’t believe me, try this experiment: ask 10 random people whose politics you don’t know, to rate their fear of Covid19 on a scale of 1-10. Then ask ask them what they think of President Trump.
I did this experiment at the post office today, and six people rated their fear below 2, while four rated their fear at 10. Three of the six low numbers were pro Trump and three wouldn’t say. All four 10s were outspoken Trump haters.
Interestingly, two of the Trump haters came very close to admitting their political motivation when they said the economic shutdowns may be worth all the suffering if only they stop Trump from boasting about the greatest economy in history.
Here in Phoenix it has been very hot. 110 is a cool day. Our A/C is requesting help. That cartoon really hit home...LOL

By about midnight the outside temp drops to about 70. Then the temp will drop to about 50 by sunrise.
The older we get, the less we tolerate heat waves.
I’m a bit confused. The CDC is an agency in the federal government. What I think I am reading between the lines from this story is that there is a great deal of political maneuvering and posturing between various branches and agencies. Turf war, if you will. The White House wants direct access to the data. And there is good reason for that since these agencies do fall under the Executive, they need the data to give proper instructions to the agencies.
It’s sickening that we have all these agencies that are funded to the tens of billions every year and they weren’t prepared for the inevitable black swan of a pandemic - even after swine flu, bird flu, sars, etc. We’re not talking Spanish flu this is all recent memory stuff. Being prepared for this is their fargin’ mission! But they never replenished their inventories of supplies!
Then, you have them battling against HCQ which clearly does work well at least when given to people early after diagnosis or onset of first symptoms. Waiting until people are in the ICU to treat covid is like waiting for cancer to metastasize before treating it. I can’t believe all the things that are going on and really only one man working overtime to keep it all from falling apart. Governor Cuomo was yelling for 40,000 ventilators... 80% of people on ventilators for covid die. Where’s the science? You could argue it does more harm than good with that statistic.
The lockdown is indeed a true test. Watching my wife looking through the window crying is really tough on me. But I can’t let her in. Rules are rules.
