I have to agree with that. However, every time I think that I just kinda repress the thought. I think it is true that Trump's naivete allowed him to go along with the "experts". I'm not sure how he can get us out. I am going to fall back on principles on this one: never look to government for a solution, take personal responsibility and do it yourself. So far I have had no problems going anywhere maskless. I generally don't have a natural charisma, my general demeanor looks pretty offsetting - as in don't mess with me. That's not what is in my heart and has been a social problem of mine since 1st grade. (In other words, I'm butt ugly and mean looking because I don't smile a lot. It's the Scandinavian in me). I think that keeps people at bay.
