And now even “moms” are peacefully protesting for the right of their children to riot. Hey Midge Decter! That you would have lived to see a rerun of your Sixties reportage, Liberal Parents, Radical Children!
The question is, do Democratic leaders believe that the riots help them win in November? Or are they afraid of losing control of the party if they don’t go along with the crazies?
I’ve decided that it’s the latter. The Democratic party is being taken over by the woke left and the old generation of leaders is desperately trying to stay in control for one last cycle. Probably they will fail and be thrown out after the 2020 election, especially if Trump wins.
Remember back in 2018 when Genius Pelosi got a whole class of moderate Democrats elected to the House? Wasn’t she smart? All those suburban women electing moderates to Congress, and Nancy got to be Speaker again.
Only, it is now clear, Nancy Pelosi isn’t really in charge. She is running desperately after the woke mob trying not to lose control of the Democratic caucus completely. Oh sure, she’s good at the Women in White thingy for the State of the Union speech. But the wokeys are in the saddle, and they are canceling all and sundry, whether it’s Bari Weiss at the New York Times or Andrew Sullivan at New York / Vox.

You know they are Democrat control by the fact that most of this is going on in Democrat controlled areas but more importantly, those in charge are preventing the police from stopping them Even when arrested the Democrat District Attorneys let them back on the street.
The Democrats think they control this beast they created but they can not. Out side of the paid agitators every individual participating in the riots have their own reason for what they are doing. They are not following any leader, they are just enjoying the ability to run wild with no consequences.
As someone pointed out there is no way that this chaos helps the Democrats. President Trump is not following the script they wrote.
He was suppose to send in the Army early to put down the rioters and then they would use that action against him.
So far the President keeps offering to help which in a Federal form of government is what he is suppose to do. If the Democrat Governors or Mayors don’t ask for help...well they can deal with it.
Exception is when they went after Federal property in which case he can act without permission of the state or local authority. And even with his mild response the Democrats attempted to paint him as an out of control dictator.
I don’t see this going for another three months.
As far as control over the Democrat party goes, who controls the money controls the party. In the end, it will be the money people who decides the fate of the Democrat party.

The riots will end first when the agitators leave taking the money, and second when the police begin making arrest and the District Attorney does not dismiss the charges.
The media is no longer covering the violence. They understand the visuals are helping President Trump.
The locals will either ask for help or they will shut it down themselves. Either way they will not last until the election

Yes. The author leaves out another possible reason Nasty Pelosi is nervous. DHS may arrest enough of the leadership to prove that the money and instigation for these violent insurrectionists starts at the top of the ‘Rat establishment.
