Rand Paul: "The majority of Republicans are now no different than socialist Democrats"
Twitter ^ | 21 July` | Sen. Rand Paul

Posted on 07/21/2020 11:23:46 AM PDT by RandFan

@RandPaul

Just came from Progressive Democrat, whoops, I’m mean Republican caucus:

They’re going to spend $105b more on education, more than we spend every year on the Dept of Education. Anyone remember when Reagan conservatives were for eliminating the Federal Dept. of Education?

@RandPaul

The majority of Republicans are now no different than socialist Democrats when it comes to debt. They simply don’t care about debt and are preparing to add at least another trillion dollars in debt this month, combined with the trillions from earlier this summer.

Rand sounds very upset. Seems like his meeting didn’t go well...

I don’t always agree with Rand Paul, but it seems that you can count on Rand Paul to stick to his guns. A heck of a lot better than that swamp creature Portman who is my Senator.

Yeah, but our side cries like children and cower before the other party in fear and loathing much better.

“Welcome to the party, pal.”

Although I’ve always liked Rand, in the past I’ve felt that he’s focused on some quixotic issues far removed from the main problems of the day. Now he’s noticing one of the big ones—the UniParty.

IMHO one reason Trump has endless difficulties is that he wants to limit, or back off, some of the more intrusive areas of government. The government is its own special interest group, and it always votes and lobbies for larger government.

I’s surprised that Republicans have as much support as they do. They are second-rate Democrats. Stand for nothing other than we’re not quite as bad as Democrats, yet

Very frustrating. They need to stick to the platform.

It’s not difficult.

Nothing new here. We hold our noses and vote for the lesser of two evils - the GOP. It’s what they count on.

probably not the majority of Republican voters. but some yes. too many yes.

the biggest problem is concentrated among many Republican politicians. even where most of their voters are conservative, these leftist GOP-E politicians still get on the ballot and sometimes get elected

and then yes, they often vote leftist with the commieNazi DNC political hacks.. who become their friends allies mentors and peer group

speaking only for myself, I don’t need any more Bushes or McShames or Romneys or Kasicks!

Any Republican who stands up for fiscal responsibility is likely to get voted out of office.

Don't blame the Republicans, Sen. Paul. Blame your own damn constituents.

From my profile page:

We're all getting a first-hand look at how a society operates when it's run by people who are always catering to the mindless whims of suburban Karens. Our leaders are invariably going to end up making decisions that are idiotic and irrational ... and they're going to feel completely unaccountable when they fail.

Good luck with that fiscal responsibility thing, Rand.

If the old Guard of the GOP doesn’t get out of the way, we will build a New Party, and they will wind up on the ash heap of history.

Rand seems safe though hopefully he gets through 2022 no doubt he will get hit hard.

We need to defend him.

there is one difference between the GOP and DNC/CCP/Antifa.

The GOP are backstabbers, rather than honest.
they viciously WORK AGAINST Americans sub rosa.

They all should be hung for eating/sextrafficking children.
