There has never been any love lost between Turkey and Greece, but the danger of war between the two NATO members has not been this high since the Cyprus conflict more than forty-five years ago. In the past, Turkey and Greece have gone to the brink, but policies initiated by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan may very much push the two neighbors over the edge.

reek and Turkish fighter jets engaged in mock dogfights this week over the Greek island of Kastellorizo, just a mile and a half from the Turkish coast, causing tourists to flee. Meanwhile, there is a growing risk that the Turkish and Greek navies will clash, hundreds of miles to the west if Turkey pushes forward with its plans to survey for has in Greece’s exclusive economic zone. Greek officials say that all options are on the table, and German Chancellor Angela Merkel has rushed to mediate as U.S. officials remain largely absent.

I’d think the Turks would win by their noses.

Kick Turkey out of NATO and then send NATO in to defend Greece.

I would love to see the Greeks whip them but as much as I despise the Turks leader, they have a reputation as really tough fighters.

Why is Turkey in NATO?

Because we needed Turkey to protect the southern flank of Europe and prevent the Russians from getting into the Med. These were both very good reasons.

I don’t disagree...one might ask why we still have troops in Germany. We are fighting the war three wars ago.

Not so much anymore. Turkey isn’t our ally and their caliphate will be glad to take whatever they can get from Russia or the US. The F-35 cancellation was well deserved.

He didn’t ask why we were in it. He’s asking why we are in it.

We have troops in Germany for force projection.
It has nothing to do with WWII.

Islam will always be an enemy.

That was true back then before the Bulkan states broke away from the old USSR. That and there used to be a government in that country NATO could work with.

Thats the reason we should never have let the Russians back into the Ukraine. Although the Ukraine isnt as important as some think..unless your Joe Biden that is.

Turkey is the mischievous child. Cant trust them and cant guess what they are doing or gonna do.

End Times Ping

Turkey is a major player in Ezekiel 38/39. They are currently heavily involved in Libya, in Syria, they are meddling around in what used to be Northern Iraq. Now Greece.

PM me if you wish to be added/removed from the list.

This is all going according to God’s plans.
Maranatha!
