Washington state officials confirmed Tuesday that a federal law enforcement unit is leaving Seattle after being sent to the city to quell ongoing demonstrations there.
Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan (D) and Gov. Jay Inslee (D) said in a statement that the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Border Patrol Tactical Unit has left Seattle after being deployed there “without the consultation or consent of state and local officials.”
“The president’s actions to target and ‘dominate’ Democratic cities through the use of federal forces is chilling. It has increased violence in Portland, Seattle and other cities across the country, which was what the president intended. Policing decisions in Seattle should be made by Chief Best – not Donald Trump, and we can rest assured that they will be,” Durkan said.
The officers were first sent to Seattle last week amid a wave of national protests against systemic racism and police brutality that was sparked by the killing of George Floyd in May.
The Trump administration has claimed the deployments were intended to restore “law and order” against “anarchist” demonstrators, but local officials panned the move as a provocation.
“This demobilization means Washingtonians no longer have to worry about the White House's aim to provoke confrontation and undermine peaceful protests,” said Inslee. “Those peacefully protesting have raised the public's consciousness of the urgent need for racial justice, and I have no doubt they will continue to use their voices to call for action. We must continue making progress toward a better and more just Washington for everyone.”

She has nothing to worry about. Her only problem would be not appearing to be radical enough.
Mayor at home, to one of her illegal servants: "Miguel, I told you to shut off the lights because I want to go to bed. They're still on. What are you, stupid. You dumb little fool."
Cowering Miguel: "I have turned off the lights, Your Honor. It looks light inside. The orange glow in the sky is from the peaceful demonstrations. Many buildings near this block are now burning. Your gate is holding, for now."
These people are paid to do this. Yes, some of them are
doing it for free, but this is a big organized crime level
effort.
We’ve seen the adds asking folks to sign up to do this
sort of thing for money.
We know these events are organized in advance. People show
up at the precise time at the precise location to conduct
these acts of violence, murder, maham, using bombs, IEDs,
officers attacked and killed or seriously injured, federal
buildings and publicly own businesses destroyed. People
are being attacked at will. Nothing is being done about
it.
The idea Trump is the issue here, is preposterous. He
hasn’t given one order for any of this to happen. He has
tried to put a dent in it happening, and for that they
criticize him.
It’s months, years, decades past time to take the seditious
Left down in this nation. Use RICO laws to take every
person involved down. Make the penalties severe.
Find out the income stream. Arrest those funding it.
Arrest those who have been getting paychecks to commit
crimes.
It wouldn’t be all that hard to do.
It’s way past time to put and end to this.
Pull the Feds out. Put troops in there and end this
bull stuff.
Then start arresting the tens of thousands who have tried
to silence, intimidate, and kill the rest of the citizenry
if they don’t capitulate, cower in silence.
We’ve seen Russia, China, Venezuela, and other places too.
We don’t want that here, and it’s way past time to put
our foot down and say this “S” stops here.
And I suggest we make it so painful that when others think
it might be a good idea to try it again in five, ten, or
fifteen years, they’ll realize right off the bat it’s a
bad idea.
University professors who condone and support this type
of activity, bring them up on charges of sedition.
As for the media in this nation? Time to fumigate.
I’m for any person of any color having rights. I’m not
for anyone of any color who wants to act the part of an
anarchist, terrorist, or overlord.
The good Citizens of this nation deserve better.

From what I have seen Seattle has been much more calm than Portland. If they can leave Seattle and not have the rioters destroy things then so be it.
They are not troops. They are ICE agents.
From what I’ve seen Seattle has been much more peaceful than Portland. I don’t recall seeing mortars begin used in Seattle recently, so maybe they are not needed for now. If that changes, i;m sure they can be sent back.
Note that DHS Border Patrol Tactical is supposedly leaving but what about US Marshall and their units? Are they staying?
I’m not believing that Barr, after what he said at todays hearing is abandoning protection of Federal Buildings.

If election fraud brings Biden to power, it’s the end of
our nation. We’ve seen who they think should be in charge
and what they have been doing. Heaven for forbid.
As for Trump doing something like that, I’m all for it.
