President Trump urged Florida residents Tuesday to vote by mail, after months of criticizing mail-in voting as susceptible to fraud.
“Whether you call it Vote by Mail or Absentee Voting, in Florida the election system is Safe and Secure, Tried and True,” Mr. Trump tweeted. “Florida’s Voting system has been cleaned up (we defeated Democrats attempts at change), so in Florida I encourage all to request a Ballot & Vote by Mail! #MAGA”
White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany said the president “has always said that absentee voting for a reason is different than mass mail-out voting...”
Florida Republican officials have expressed concern that the president’s campaign against mail-in voting is suppressing the number of GOP voters who are taking part in it, while Democrats are voting by mail in large numbers.

The President is right in that Voting Mail for some people in a few states works for some people, but perhaps not everyone in all states.
The state of Oregon says it has been using mail in voting for a long time with no problem. Of course the Democrats think there is no problem because in Oregon the Democrats win every statewide election.
Absentee vs mailout/mail in. The media doesn’t understand the difference.

Shockingly it was passed by the Republican Legislature in October. Apparently you have to actually apply for a ballot just like absentee, they aren’t getting mass mailed (though there are rumors Gov. Wolf is going to abuse his COVID emergency powers to do exactly that).
He called it “absentee ballot or mail-in whatever you want to call it”. he’s always supported absentee balloting because you have to request an absentee ballot. Just the usual suspects attempt to muddy the waters again.

Absentee voting, using the US Postal Service as your medium of transmission, requires that, first the prospective voter REQUESTS the ballot be mailed to his address, then the completed ballot is returned, postmarked BEFORE the date on which the polls are closed. No agent goes around to the addresses and solicits the return of the ballots to the agent, who then shall graciously transport them to the ballot clerk, so-called “ballot harvesting”, a blatantly transparent scheme to juggle the actual ballots received by the county clerk’s office, where the ballots are counted.
Chain of custody of the ballot is very important here, and like the chain of custody of material evidence has to be maintained for medical procedures or legal proceedings, any compromise completely invalidates the possibly corrupted material evidence, and is thus unacceptable and inadmissible.

I voted absentee one time (I was in another state doing some corporate training on Election Day). I thought the process was fairly secure. I had to apply for my absentee ballot and explain why I needed to vote absentee. They checked my registration and sent it to me, along with a deadline by which it had to be returned. The absentee ballots for voters registered at my polling place were delivered to that polling place in sealed envelopes the morning of the election, and were opened and counted along with the machine totals by the local election board when the polls closed.
Looks as if he is pushing absentee voting, which is legal.
Only thing is..you have to request the ballot.
The wife and I do that here in AZ. Then we take the ballot’S’ to the poling station.
Has he been hacked? Vote by mail is a scheme to get democrats elected by ballot harvesting. To get democrats elected to everything, everywhere.

And THAT is the issue, not just for the corrupt MSM. Voting by absentee, which requires an ID and has various checks is far, far different than mass mailing ballots to apartments, nursing homes, and soup kitchens so any scoundrel (DNC) can harvest by paying a pack of Camels in exchange for taking care of his/her blank ballot.
I’ll be going in person like I have for the last 20+ years, thanks.
