I recall someone on this very site, from Michigan, told me and all of us once that Whitmer is not very popular in Michigan, and would not help the Democrat ticket carry Michigan.
Besides, she appears to not be a racial/ethnic minority, which we have been told for months were the leading candidates. Would there be frustration among the identity politics Democrats, if after getting hopes up, a white person is the VP nominee?????
