Now they want to stop the riots while staying on the side of the rioters.
It’s not going to work.
If they ever do put an end to the riots, the obvious question from the citizens will be, “Why didn’t you do that day one?”
Mayor Lightfoot had already said “We can’t CONTINUE to allow this to happen” as well as covering for police inaction (IMHO) In May and June when she said “ the righteous uprising in the wake of the murder of George Floyd.”
