Mayor of Sderot Alon Davidi attacked the government for its failure to put an end to terrorist activity in the Gaza Strip as incendiary balloons and missiles continue to be launched from the Hamas controlled territory into southern Israel.
"During a week when everyone has been talking jubilantly about peace for peace it is not at all clear to me which world we are talking about," Davidi lamented.
"In our city, there is a war, there are missiles and a lack of basic security for our residents. Prime minister and minister of defense: you need to wake up. The residents of Sderot and the Gaza envelope are running to shelters from incoming missiles.
"Our children live in a routine that is a constant emergency even while Hamas and Islamic Jihad in Gaza walk around freely courtesy of the government of Israel,"...

I noticed I still am getting notifications on my attack app I had for my Israel trip they are still getting rockets. :(
For a change? Sderot is very reachable. I remember for a while some rockets hit Gush Etzion, but never hit anything. I’d hear them detonate in the distance, and laugh. But Sderot, everyone there has PTSD, from suckling babes to doddering ancients. It’s part of life there, and it shouldn’t be.
It’s so sickening. Israel is a wonderful place. I so want to visit again.
So what, they hold political offices and are worshipped here.
Attacking Gaza would absolutely delight Hamas and the Islamic Jihad. Those people are in Gaza to be martyred for Islam. Hamas, the Jihad and the Palestinian Authority need to be lynched, shot and burned. They are the cause of suffering in Gaza. The Israelis are sensitive to the situation and must necessarily walk on eggshells. Its not a simple problem.
