LOS ANGELES -- Owners of restaurants, gyms and nail salons criticized California's new rules guiding when businesses can reopen during the coronavirus pandemic, saying the plan will bring financial misery to their industries and further weaken the state's battered economy.

The California Restaurant Association said in a statement Friday that restaurants will continue to close permanently around the state because Gov. Gavin Newsom's plan will continue to keep most indoor dining rooms closed, while others will have strict limits on capacity.

The group called on Newsom to hold a special session of the Legislature to work on an aid package.

Well, except for the animals who are more equal than others and are getting their hair done in private salon sessions, meeting with their personal trainers at closed gyms...

When are we going to stand up and resist this? What we don’t have is a leader. Trump is excellent but he’s not taking leadership on this. And actually, stopping this shutdown stuff is probably more important even than combatting Antifa, because Antifa and BLM wouldn’t be able to get any traction if people were all back to work (even in somewhat changed circumstances, because there will be more working from remote locations) and back to dining out and going to the gym and making money and living their lives.

The Dems know it and that’s why they want this shutdown to go on forever. And obviously, they’re exempt, so it’s “what, me worry?”

A large, strong, middle class is the enemy of Communist and Marxist governments and takovers. A rich ruling party and a large poor and oppressed workforce is the goal of such takeovers.

Who says that the local and state governments weren’t in cahoots with the thugs the entire time?

Don't pay any state, property, or sales taxes then.

Boycott all state services. Don't play the lottery.

If the local government is Dem, yes, they certainly were in cahoots.
