The Leftists who used this virus to destroy the economy and foment chaos WILL be, ironically, unmasked as millions more every day realize they’ve been had.
These people are evil. The knew the risk was slim to none but choose to keep restaurants/bars heavily restricted because it would bring soem sense of normalcy back. They wanted the “new normal” of misery as long as they could.
This seems criminal.
After the bars were allowed to stay open later for the Titans game the other night, then back to the usual closing early again, I’m waiting to hear about restaurant and bar owners joining together in a major lawsuit against Commie Cooper. I’d say that one night has given them the grounds for a heck of a case.
I’m so glad we have a mayor with sense and don’t have to deal with the garbage Nashvillians do.

And didn't they say the purpose of all of this was to flatten the (death) curve? Funny, the curve has been flattened and gone down and we still are under severe restrictions.
But I'll bet this all goes Poof when it is found that the suicides from the COVID policies are greater than the COVID deaths themselves. Oh, and don't forget family breakups from COVID as well. The ERs know this very well.
I think this really comes down to the insecurity and paranoia of those in “authority”. They made such strident pronouncements early on, acting as if they had special knowledge. (We call this “talking out of one’s a**”). Now they are in the inevitable position of needing to justify their ignorance with lies, to keep the illusion of omniscience.
They fear the blame that will result if the truth is known. Their error is their congenital inability to say “we don’t know” about anything, and a similarly congenital reaction to use any opportunity to seize power.
They cannot admit they were wrong at the beginning and work to repair the damage. They will continue to try to find a way to take credit when all this is over, and to tell us how much worse it all would have been if not for their authoritarian actions.
It really does boggle the mind just how many global socialist utopia types are working together to squash all freedom.

Like the enviro emails some years ago complaining that actual temperatures were not nearly what their computer models predicted, and that they had to fudge numbers to “prove” warming, these emails prove COVID-19 LIES!
Old traditions like tar and feathers and a ride out of town on a rail need to be reconsidered for current day use.
If that’s too harsh then at least stocks in the public square where citizens can get rid of rotting vegetables.
