Trump spars with Bloomberg over $100M Biden boost in Florida battleground
Fox Business ^ | September 18 2020 | Paul Steinhauser

President Trump took to Twitter on Friday to slam former New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg’s pledge to spend $100 million on helping Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden win the battleground state of Florida in November’s general election.

Using a derogatory nickname for Sen. Elizabeth Warren, Trump charged that “Mini Mike Bloomberg, after making a total fool of himself as he got badly beaten up by Pocahontas and the Democrats in the Primaries, is at it again. He tried to buy an Election and went away with a major case of Depression. Now he’s throwing money at the Dems, looking for a job!”

“The only one who will be looking for a new job next year is you,” Bloomberg stressed.

Says the guy who flushed 1 billion dollars to get to nowhere!

Do you suppose Bloomberg really believes that $100M will ensure a Biden win in Flori-Duh?

Hard for me to believe that there are Americans of voting age who have not made up their mind about who to vote for in 2020!

We must continue to stress the point to our FRiends, neighbors, relatives, casual acquaintances etc. etc., that a vote for ANY Democrat is a vote AGAINST America!

Bloomberg outspent his opponent 14-1 ($90 million) in NYC for a third term, and only one by 5 points.

Did Michael Bloomberg win any state (excluding Puerto Rico and other territories) during the Democrat primaries despite spending around $1 billion? No. But I fear that this allows the DNC to spend money in other battleground states. That is what Trump and the RNC should worry about.

So is it that Dinesh D'Souza had to serve a prison term for trying to give an extra $10,000 to a Senate candidate who was a friend, but Mini-Mike can give a $100,000,000 to Biden. Do people realize that a lot of these excessive contributions do not get spent on the campaigns of losers at all and take a circuitous route directly into the pockets of corrupt politicians? Somehow it reminds me a little of the Mell Brooks movie The Producers. Does Biden really even want to win?

The Alpha Male wins, and the timid old man loses. The guy who can’t get a woman so he resorts to ... well I can’t say it, but remember the name Tara Reade.

I never have understood the campaign finance laws. I thought there was some type of cap for one person could give.

Didn’t Dinesh get thrown in jail for giving too much $ to one candidate?

If that is not the case, what is stopping Cuban, Bates, and all the other Billionaires to give all the money they could possibly want?

I heard three ‘undecided’ voters speak last night.....none appeared to have any values or political understanding how to determine who you want to vote for. Just a lot of belly aching about division in the country and the like....idiots...of course there’s division it’s an election year!

I believe they are limited as to what they can give to a candidate, but when it comes to Political Action Committees, an individual can spend as much as he or she wants to boost a specific candidate.
