FNC’s Carlson: We’ll Look Back on Incorporating BLM, 1619 Project, Critical Race Theory in Schools in ‘Shame and Horror’

Thursday on Fox News Channel’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” host Tucker Carlson rejected efforts by American educators to include elements of Black Lives Matter, Critical Race Theory and the 1619 Project into curriculums.

According to Carlson, society will look back in “shame and horror” on those efforts.

Transcript as follows:

CARLSON: The President today announced the creation of something called the Patriotic Education Commission. It will be designed to combat something called Critical Race Theory which is the lunatic lie that teaches our children some people are inherently worse than others. Some are morally tainted because of their skin color.

The very idea that our “educators” are unaware of our history, have banned the truth to teach the lies should horrify all of us. Look how far we have fallen.

Teaching 2 + 2 = 5 is not far behind.

Lies are the new facts.

Propaganda is the new curriculum.

Violence is the new peace movement.

The "progressive" meme never includes an acknowledgement of that movement's decades-long coercive role in creating an environment for such violence (whether by gun or other means) as is now on display.

That so-called "liberal/progressive" movement intentionally diminished the role of parents and schools in teaching students about 1) their Creator-endowed rights and responsibilities, 2) their individual role as citizens in their communities, and, 3) the character training which once was the goal and aim of education in America

Do older readers of this thread remember when such character training was a part of the school day? Do any now retired teachers remember when the National Education Association provided booklets and other materials based on Biblical teachings and America's founding documents in order to teach children their rights and responsibilities as good citizens?

Perhaps an examination of this web site may refresh the minds of such teachers. Or, perhaps a reading of this factual account of NEA publications may enlighten others who are younger to understand the degree to which the "progressive" control of education in America may have contributed to our current dilemma.

When Obama was an Illinois Senator he and Bill (step on the American flag) Ayers had gained total control of the distribution of funds from the Annenberg foundation which they passed its millions on to lefty fronts offering courses to Illinois and Chicago schools pushing the what soon would be the BLM agenda. Author and investigative reporter Stanley Kurtz should be asked about this when interviewed about socialist plans for the suburbs. For at that time when Obama was doing this he tried to expose those radical left study programs over a program held by WGN radio but was threatened by protesters who prevented a cohearent presentation.
