When God was asked, I think by Job, why he let a wicked man flourish, God answered that the wicked man’s cup was not full. The cup was his cup of wrath. God allowed 5he wicked man to fully express his evil before God brought him to judgement. God being just could not punish the man near to his true wickedness untl the man actually did the evil that was in his heart.
You have to step out of your perspective to grasp God’s justice. ALL men were created in his image, all men are spiritually eternal. The death and life on earth is a tiny fragment of a man’s life. God grants this life of freedom to express and develop who we are. Then at judgement our course is set for eternity.
Some to life everlasting in His presence as his family, others to an eternity of separation from God.
Christ made a way to God that removed the condemnation of sin, others choose a life of sin.
Sin will be punished, fully for ever.
The wicked man choose who he wanted to be and be without. He will drink and drain that cup of wrath.
We can't explain why God leaves any of us breathing.
