They should and yet you see them laying all over the place outdoors these days.
People are just slobs about cleaning up after themselves and any parking lot will have several just laying around.
Plus I had a cousin call me out of the blue to tell me relax and listen to the governor and doctors because they know what they are talking about and just to go along.
I have not spoken to her since. I love her and she is a good person but she has lost it on the covid and mask issue.

The answer is that the virus doesn’t live very long in the “mask” environment.
Ask why the rules don’t mandate full face coverage and they often allow your nose to hang out, or even let your mask hang off your neck by the strap. With real chemical and bio hazards, you cover your whole face, even your eyeballs.
