Access to Capital is only valuable to Capitalists.
Communitarianists do not know how to create value and thereby wealth. They capture value through government mandates and false claims.

Pouring massive amounts of money into funding businesses for those who otherwise wouldn’t be good financial bets for a business loan is creating a massive moral hazard.

And I don’t know how many more government-created moral hazards African-Americans can survive.

Oh, and yes, it is also a massive slap in the face of all the poor white Americans who grind away at low-paying jobs with a chunk handed over in federal taxes to fund a humongous giveaway for all African-Americans—rich and poor.

Just a horrible, horrible policy and program.

This was a great speech. Trump was so relaxed and totally connected with his audience.

I'm expecting a solid Trump victory on Nov 3 - if not an out-and-out landslide.

Exactly. Disappointed in Trump, as this (and the whopping $200 offered to Seniors) is PANDERING 101.

I expect better of him. Win on the issues. Not offering free goodies to certain voting blocks. That’s what the Dems do.

If we got rid of some/all of the welfare paid out to the baby-mamas just for having kids - and put that money into affordable business loans I could get behind that.

And I’ve said for years, all of the benefits that minority, disabled, women businesses, etc. get should only last for 7 years or so (the average time it takes to get a stable business going iirc). If you have to give these folks a hand up - do it for only as long as they need a hand up.

I know plenty of minorities and women-owned businesses that make lots of money because they do good work AND get the various perks. Get rid of the perks.

As soon as you can become and declare yourself to be a minority woman. Otherwise, nothing for you but more paying of taxes

A half trillion funding black businesses is atrociously poor and unjust public policy. If such businesses can’t get themselves going or win legit loans, tjey are likely a bad idea with bad owner/managers.
