Why change things now?
If they were smart, they would withdraw. Instead, they’ll double down on personal attacks and screaming about how they want to court pack.
Although not my preference, if it is ACB, I REALLY hope someone on their side makes some dumb comment about her adopted kids. Can easily hammer them for the racists they are if they do. In addition to their extreme anti-religion views of course.
Fight it..please fight it.

The answer to every Dem question:
“Senator, with all due respect, you have no intention of voting to confirm my nomination, so I decline to answer your question based on its irrelevance.”
Since the liberals are all about women’s rights, girl power, women’s empowerment and all that, they should be thrilled to see a woman nominee to the Supreme Court.
By their own criteria, a woman nominee to the Supreme Court uplifts women, empowers women, and is a strong sign to young girls growing up, that they can aspire to great things in life.
So I wonder how the liberals will complain about this nominee, when she meets the criteria they talk about, being a successful woman with a great family life? She has it all, as they say.
Smoke screen, they have only one goal. Delay the vote until after the election. Every they do is directed at that goal.
A sane political strategist would say to use the process to push your positions/objections in a dignified manner, but otherwise let it slide. You have guaranteed cameras on you, so 100% free airtime.
Read where a couple rats are not going to even vote....
They will show up because they crave the camera time. They will use it to bash Trump since they have no hope of stopping the confirmation.
Every question will begin with a speech about “this president” and his incompetence, duplicity, evil, dictatorship, racism, misogyny, threat to democracy, etc., etc., etc.........
Probably the same way they attack people like Clarence Thomas who are black and conservative; claim that somehow they’re “not really black.” That ACB is a woman but a “traitor to her gender” and should be disregarded. It’s really sickening how much they want to punish independent thought.
Which is exactly why there should be no hearings. Take the nomination directly to the floor for a vote. These hearings are a vanity play for Graham.

Like blacks, she isn’t a woman unless she votes D.
What we need is deescalation. Fight in the political arena of ideals and debate, not in the streets nor personal attacks. That would require civility from the progressives, but they know they cannot win in a fair and civil discussion.
Yup but they won’t be able to. So instead they will do like they did with Kavanaugh - realize they can’t stop it but work themselves up into a frenzy and try to attack the nominee but really just expose their on stupidity and evil in the process. Not having full on hearings would obviously speed it up, but won’t stop their grandstanding and screaming.
Count on it - they mean to choose the hill upon which they die. But they have claimed so many hills for this purpose already, it is hard to say which one one will be the one on which expiration occurs.
They mean to dig a hole and drag as much of the world into that hole with them as they can.
Smash-mouth, take-no-prisoners, to the last breath, never concede, never surrender. This is MUCH more important than any mere life-and-death considerations.
But if the revolution succeeds, and most of its followers are killed or put out of commission, what’s the point for all those who fell?
HA! Don’t kid yourselves. All they’ve done for the last four years is scream and yell. Does anyone think they’ll stop now?
