Well, if this is still America, the only "healthcare plan" I want to hear about, is allowing the private carriers to actually sell the product called "health insurance"...with complete underwriting.
And the really sick patients (Pre-X) applicants had better be placed in a separate claims fund (high risk pool) As premiums are directly related to claims paid out..there's no way in hell it can cheap if you are forced to insure known sick people as though they were healthy.
In other words, if you want to buy health insurance, first you have to have "good health" to insure.
Association health plans should be allowed as well as selling across state lines.
