Did they legally obtain these tax returns? How is it that they have this information all of a sudden?
Big whoop. If there were anything in them, the corrupt IRS would have leaked them years ago.

Seems to me that Trump hates paying taxes, so he uses the tax code to prevent it. But in the process, he spends more, which gets back into the economy.
This probably means he doesn't take a salary, but expenses just about everything through his company. In a way, it's not much different than politicians who have their campaign organization pay for just about everything.

Your tax returns are supposed to be private and no one in the IRS, the state tax office or your accountant’s office is supposed to release them unless there is a valid subpoena.
How the heck does the NY times get these? Mr. Trump should get a court order to keep the times from releasing these and someone at the Times or who released these should go to jail.

Obviously if the Times has his tax returns then they must know that they have been transmitted to them illegally. So, the question is do you enjoin the Times from publishing them and force them under law to return them and destroy all copies in their possession. Unquestionably Trump should privately sue them in a multi billion dollar suit if they use them to advance their commercial interests.
