Courts view GOP fraud claims skeptically as Democrats score key legal victories over mail voting

For six months, the rules for how Americans can vote during the coronavirus pandemic have been locked in court battles while states across the country rushed to embrace mail ballots.

Now, with just weeks to go before the Nov. 3 election, voting rights advocates and Democrats have advanced on key fronts in the legal war, scoring victories that make mail voting easier, ensure votes cast by mail are counted and protect the wide distribution of mail ballots in some states.

I’m sure most, if not all these “skeptical” black-robed terrorists were appointed by 0bama and Clinton. I believe Trump is winning the argument in the minds of the people. I notice now that the Media/Dem Party is actually pushing in-person voting because more and more people are skeptical about the security of universal or unsolicited mail-in voting. Basementman and Mrs Basementman voted in-person, both Clinton’s also tweeted about them voting in-person.

Actually, this article is behind the events. GOP has had two major wins in the last 3 or 4 days stopping the ballet nonsense.

All these election cases meant to make it easier for the marxist dems to cheat and steal the election keep getting heard in front of obama judges, its magic, considering these cases are ....cough....cough.... randomly assigned. But so far in Wisconsin and a couple of other states, federal appeals courts are overturning the decisions of the obama judges. So if the R’s are on top of their game, with the newly transformed Appeals Courts and good legal arguments most of the counter suits should get the obama judges totally overturned. I just hope the R’s get to work in Michigan, they need to sue big time. The Michigan Courts have completely re-written election law in the state. Where the law says ballot harvesting is illegal, Michigan democrat judges have simplty decreed the practice legal. The law in Michigan says all absentee and mailed in ballots must be recieved by election day or they’re not considered valid, once again, Michigan democrat judges simply waived the law and said ballots will be counted that are recieved up to 14 days after the election. There are several other election laws the Michigan democrat judges have simply voided. The R’s better challenge this BS in Michigan like they have in Wiscy and Penn.

Arguing Fraud is one thing and surely there is fraud, but to me the other issue just as bad and maybe worse, is allowing votes to be postmarked after election day to be counted...

That is equally bad, let’s say Trump wins Michigan by 30,000 votes on election day but for the next two weeks Democrats can mail in ballots post marked after election result is known....that is a total fraud.

Exactly, in Mi it was a lower state court that did this. The Mi GOP should have been at the MI SC the next day. The Mi SC is a 5-4 Republican majority so where the hell are they?

No kidding. Where does it say in Constitution that voting should be easy? If my grandpa could trudge through the snow 5 miles to vote everyone can.

The Dems have picked the venues to push last minute election law changes through the courts. Look no further than the choice to use the state court in Wisc. vs. the federal courts in Penn. The Wisc. case was already brought to the federal court by Reps and once the Dems brought it to the state court the fed court placed their case on hold awaiting the state court’s decision. Now that the Wisc. SC has ruled the fed court case is going forward.

The Dems are now pivoting to in-person voting because they know they will lose in the fed courts, (stays are already issued in some of the cases at the appellate level and will overturn the lower courts/state courts.

The basic reasoning for overturning the Dems temporary wins in the lower courts is that the lower courts can not change current law. That is the right of the legislature, not the court.

The pandemic fear does not give rise to changing laws since there is plenty of time for voters to vote early, in-person, via absentee mail or mail-in voting. The voter is responsible to ensure they follow all current election laws, (signing envelope, witnesses, security envelope, mailing on time or dropping off at county election office/drop boxes and other election laws).
