CBS News political analyst admits media will focus on coronavirus which is a ‘very bad issue’ for Trump
CBS News’ John Dickerson said Friday that the ongoing controversy surrounding a laptop — purportedly belonging to Hunter Biden and that allegedly contained damaging emails and photos of the Democratic presidential nominee’s son — are unlikely to hurt Joe Biden's campaign because he “has an ally in the news cycle.”

“Joe Biden has an ally in the news cycle, which is, if President Trump tries to shift the turf onto the Biden family, for the purposes of muddying Joe Biden, the news cycle keeps returning to the central piece of this campaign which is coronavirus and the president’s response to it and the country has a very negative view of that,” Dickerson said.
DIckerson then said the news cycle will “keep voters focused on that very bad issue for the president," rather than devoting time to the laptop's contents and questions about the family's overseas business dealings.

I do not watch CBS, nor do I know that John Dickerson. All I can say is this, the bulk of the media is the enemy within. The Marxist and Socialists have clearly drawn their lines in the sand.

I think some of the folks posting on this thread have missed the very significant progress being made by Breitbart and Giuliani.
CBS and NPR have moved from “discredited” to “unverified”.
I think we should look for further word choice progress in the next few days.
I think the press is giving in to Trump. I see cracks in the press. They are allowing some positive Trump speech. I think that Barr has everything he needs to start a special investigator if Trump loses. I think they are afraid of that. Both Democrats and Republicans in our government are being blackmailed by China. Also many of our business people are as well. If Trump wins it goes away. If he loses the special investigator, hand picked by Barr starts before Thanksgiving. Half the people in power in the US are beholden to China. Whether its illicit profits from China, or kick backs, or sex tapes. China has it all. And they have 20 years of black mail. Trump will clean it up and not bring charges. if he is in office. But if not, the show starts next month. Why do you think so many republicans retired? Paul Ryan? Trump will win and decouple from China without charging anyone except Chinese.
I don’t think Joe Biden has a true ally anywhere.........but there are certainly those who oppose Trump and his administration and want the Demorats back in power.. the media of course is one.
Joe on his own is just an old demented man with cognitive issues who should have never run in the first place. However the greed and corrupt family of his saw and see a bigger pie to fluff their nests with and would love to be finding their next home in the Whitehouse next to all the power and money they can scam across the nation and world.
