Dallas turns blue and very unsafe: The Texas electoral map looks pretty red except for those blue squares in Dallas and other cities

The Texas electoral map looks pretty red except for those blue squares in Dallas and other cities. Yes, Texas is starting to look a lot like other states where people live in Democrat cities, competitive suburbs and rural areas dominated by the GOP.

So what happens in blue cities?  Crime goes up, and Dallas is no exception, as we see in these news reports:

A new spike in violent crime drew response Monday from Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson and Police Chief U. Renee Hall.

Since Wednesday, there have been at least 24 shootings with 29 victims and 11 deaths.

The string of violence began Wednesday afternoon with the freeway killing of Dallas rap music star Mo3, known to his family as Melvin Noble. The 28-year old was a Dallas native. He was shot in the middle of the day on the I-35E R. L.Thornton Freeway as he tried to run away, police said.

A sad story but getting more common.   I've lived in this area since 1984 and we did not have this problem years ago.  There was your occasional crime of passion but not crime like this.  Who knew that Dallas would remind us of Chicago’s weekend shootouts?

Of course, crime has other consequences.  It drives people to the suburbs.  It discourages businesses moving to Texas from selecting Dallas as their home addresses.  Like other blue cities, Dallas is short on police officers.

So what's our city council doing?  They are talking about bringing down statues and discussing our "racist" past.  Maybe they should talk about our growing crime problem.

You mean those areas where the fraud was perpetrated? Those areas?

Based off this last election...

ITs probably not as blue as you think in Dallas....

They just get the Fraud Machine implemented inside these large blue districts, and turn what would otherwise be a red state blue with the fraud.

We watched something similar with Broward County in Florida for about the last 10 years. Then they got rid of that corrupt witch running the Broward county elections...and surprise surprise.....Florida is barely a tossup anymore.

Ironic, isn’t it?

All the massive fraud centers are in the heart of inner cities

Where crime, drugs, unemployment and Democrats prevail

Such a coincidence Modern day slavery, committing felonies for minimum wage

Whatta “steal” huh?

Actually, Trump lost support in suburbs, not cities.. see Cobb and Gwinnett county, GA. Obama lost these counties by 66,000 yet Biden won by 130,000

Why did he lose it? It wasn’t just voter fraud, if Trump would have won those areas, Georgia wouldn’t have flipped.

Trump’s personality was on the ballot, and we paid for that.

Good thing Dominion didn’t get their machines into TX. They tried but got denied by TX SOS machine examiners. TX going blue would have been the grand prize for dems

Last year someone broke into my 89 year old mom’s house in Dallas and almost killed her. She’s lucky to be alive. Dallas has changed a lot since I grew up there. I hate going to visit her. I hate staying in her house.

So sad and scary.

Can she move? Maybe closer to you/siblings??

We were thankful the day my in-laws sold their (long time) home, in Houston, and got the heck outta there. The area had become really dangerous.

The left is steadily working on turning TX blue.

Between $oros funded candidates, in the major cities, to moving libs from CA, NY and IL to the suburbs....they’re patiently chipping away :-(

How about Florida? Trump won it overwhelmingly. What voting system did they use? ( Remember, this was the state that gave us the Gore vs Bush fiasco in 2000 ).

One bellwether for Dallas county has always been the election of its Republican judges. Then Katrina hit in 2005 and a number of democrats from the New Orleans moved to Dallas and Houston. It had the slight advantage of tipping the scale from red to blue, however the number of conservatives surrounding Dallas is incredibly high. In fact, there are so many conservatives in Texas that to offset that and turn Texas blue would be a gargantuan effort unlikely to happen ever.

I know of a number of libs who left the city of Dallas and the state of Texas because they know how much work it would be to turn Texas blue.

Another bellwether - I have a friend who works for a Dallas home builder. She asks everyone who comes into the model home she works on the weekend, "Are you conservative or liberal?" (I can't believe she gets away with this) and she says that a good 90% answer: "Conservative." She then says, "Good, just checking." To the libs, she works to discourage them from buying a house.

You’re going to catch a lot of flak for that last comment, but the truth hurts. Sure, his base loves his style, but I’ll wager there was at least 10 percent that couldn’t pull the lever for him because of his pugnacity. Many of those same people will live to regret their decision while enduring a Biden administration.

I voted for Trump, and we were in Austin for the rally. I’m just making an observation.

No real big dem controlled cities in FL. Floridians are major capitalists and loved Trump. I think DeSantis made sure things were on the up and up. No mass mailing of unsolicited ballots. Just found out this morning that they used Dominion here in MO but MO’s too red to overcome by cheating in St Louis and KC. It all happened in big blue shithole cities.

I am sure, but Trump had an opportunity to pivot from own the libs reality TV star to serious war time president against a international threat of a deadly virus. He would have kicked butt and the election would not have even been close for the ‘rats to steal.

Biden was an awful candidate, and Trump did himself zero favors.

First debate, Trump technically won that debate, why? He got Biden to run away from his platform, in debating, that is the win. But this wasn’t a Harvard scored debate. What the American public saw, was a Jerk debating Grandpa, that was bad, really bad. And honestly, Trump lost the ‘burbs here and it cost him dearly.

The 2nd debate was an ambush, would have been better if Trump stayed home that night. It did him no favors.

Trump was going by his old 2015/2016 Art of the Deal model of all press (including bad press) is good press. But the only problem is, it has an expiration date, and I believe it was around March during the Corona Virus. Trump needed to shut up at those conferences, should have selected the best team of experts to be the public face, got rid of the 1980’s relic Fauci and stayed to the facts and not play doctor. American suburbs were tired of Trump in September and it showed. The left figured this out, that is why they were 24/7 Trump coverage, and it was 94% negative, to wear people down to the core, make people want to vote Biden to make it stop and Trump didn’t pick up on this at all.

Biden didn’t need to campaign, Trump was doing that job for him.
