Yes. Mostly because it would blow what’s left of his mind and leave him a quivering mess curled up in the corner. Do you think Obama told him the whole story? Hell, no. A big plus would be to monitor the press for any leaks that could be directly traced back. On the down side I remember he was the one that ratted out SEAL Team Six on the bin Laden raid so the danger to active ops would be very real.

There are two levels of briefings. There is a slightly lower level briefing that starts soon after the election. It does contain some classified information. Biden has been getting that.
Then there is the exact presidential briefing with TS info that doesn’t start until the transition team is on the govt payroll.
