I wrote an e-mail to Mervyn's yesterday questioning their sponsorship of Politically Incorrect. Looks like plenty of other people did, too.

Good job. Shut him down. Before long he will have to rely on personal donations from the likes of Ernest de Moniac to finance access to a soapbox from which to spit his obscene and terribly unfunny rants.

And that's as it should be.

Here's the one I got from Sear's:

"Sincere thanks from all of us at Sears for taking the time to write and express your support of Sears decision to cancel its advertising on "Politically Incorrect." The outpouring of support from our customers across the nation has validated our decision.

Thanks again. Your note means more to us than you can imagine.

This is really big news!

Mervyn's is owned by Target, which owns many other retail names across America!

Time for me to send my daily message to the $aggots at ABC to beg them not to take Maher, Jennings and other left wing extremists on ABC of the air. I tell them that everytime these left wingers open their mouth, ABC loses more audience and advertisers! Please keep them on until ABC/Disney go bankrupt!

No, I'm not against the use of our first amendment by Vile Left Wing Extremists (VLWE's). I'm all for the VLWE's using the first amendment to show their hatred of America/Americans and our flag. Then, we use our first amendment and take those exact words and beat the living hell out of them. Make their final days as so called entertainers a living hell. Then, we use our $'s as weapons of truth like with Maher!

I hope that Whorealdo and Chris Matthews open their vile mouths and really tell us what is on their VLWE minds!

I pointed out in my e-mail to Mervyn's that this was not a 1st amendment issue. They were free sponsor an agenda and I was free to spend my money elsewhere.

Evidently Chevy has pulled their ads. To the best of my knowledge, the following sponsors have pulled their ads: FedEx, Sears, Chevy, Quiznos, Mervyn's.

Very encouraging news.

Anyone see the loser trying to beg his way out of the controversy on the Leno show on Friday night? I'd really like to get a transcript of that show and of his remarks at the opening of the Friday night Politically Incorrect.

There are people at FR who actually believe that Maher was supporting the military in his comments yet he refuses to acknowledge that the "cowardice" he spoke of was directed at Clinton. If this is not the case, then he is a liar and a shameless Clinton apologist because he is the "coward" that launched the attacks on the aspirin factory. Not the Congress, not the military, and certainly not the American people.

But if I heard him correctly on the Tonight Show, he was implying that the American people shared in the act he desribed as cowardice by not opposing it and stopping it. Yet there are people who are insisting this dog-breathed clown is a supporter for the military on FR! C'mon folks.

Keep up the good work and let's relegate this loser to one of those "unmarked graves of discarded lies!"

Maher started his show on Friday by saying that ABC decided to air it without sponsors and added that was a "studley" thing to do. How long do you think a major TV network will want to be "studley" when it is not making any revenue on one of its "entertainment" programs?

I've seen Politically Incorrect transcripts posted here before. Anyone know where to get them?

Also trying to lay my hands on a transcript of Maher's comments to Jay Leno on the Tonight Show from Friday night.

Excellent use of words to get your point across! Good work here with the others who contacted Mervyn's!

I like that phrase, "They were Free to sponsor an agenda, and I was free to spend my money elsewhere!"

I will modify that just a little for all of the so called conservatives in lust for Maher in their support for him on this board!

And who are about as anti-Second Amendment as they come, for your information.

My wife's quit suggesting that we go to Target- she gets tired of hearing me rant and rave.

Thanks, George! First of all you need to update your holding/parent company! It is now Target not Dayton/Hudson. I believe that the change was over one year ago. Noone really knew who/what Dayton/Hudson was. You would have to be a hermit not to what what Target was!

Also, this is what gets we conservatives into trouble. The bad corporation here is Levi, the maggot infested left wing extremist company in San Francisco. Any conservative who buys Levi jeans from any company, Target, Sears, or your local conservative retailer is funding this crap that comes out of the Levi left wing headquarters 24/7/365!

Target has a lot of faults. Some conservatives would never shop at Target because they carry ChiCom products. I just don't buy ChiCom products! If I boycotted every store that carry's ChiCom products, my family would starve to death and freeze to death. We just don't buy ChiCom products!

Living just north of Gay San Francisco, I know all about the Levi family (the current left wingers). I have not bough a pair of Levis for over 12 years! When they started their left wing extremists stands, I sent them a letter saying that we would never buy a single Levi product from the date of that letter on!

A lot of conservatives would like for us not to shop at Walmarts. Well, I have bought guns and ammo from Walmart for years, and they still carry guns and ammo! Do they carry ChiCom products? Yeah and so does every other store in my home town. I just refuse to buy ChiCom Products from WalMart, Target or George's store downtown! That is how I handle the left wing extremists who own and operate Levis, I refuse to buy any Levi products anywhere!

George thanks for your response! I think that now is the time to let Mervyns and their parent company Target know that we appreciate their pulling of ad $'s from Mahers self destruction program! I will do that this week. I'm waiting to send out a group letter to all who have dropped Maher! No company is perfect, and it is time that we conservatives thank them when they do the right thing! You know like patting your dog on the head and saying nice things, when the dog does a positive thing! Thanks for your input here!

Great point. They should issue a press release.
