DOMESTIC TERRORISM
Domestic terrorism investigations are among the highest priorities of the FBIs National Security Division.
Domestic terrorist groups are those which are based and which operate entirely within the United States, or its territories, and whose activities are directed at elements of the U.S. Government or its civilian population. The threat posed by domestic terrorist groups has remained significant over the past several years. Domestic terrorist groups represent interests spanning the full political spectrum, as well as social issues and concerns. However, FBI investigations of domestic terrorist groups are not predicated upon social or political beliefs; rather, they are based upon planned or actual criminal activity.
The current domestic terrorist threat primarily comes from right-wing extremist groups, including radical paramilitary (militia) groups, Puerto Rican terrorist groups, and special interest groups.

It's amusing to see them try to say Aryan Nation = militia = NRA = 2nd Amendment Supporter = all bad people.
This is quite a naively written piece. You can always note this naivete when the Brits try to write about some aspect of American society that they utterly don't comprehend.

I also think these "miltia" and "right-wing" stories are being ferretted out to shift American anger from the middle eastern terrorists who are more than likely the true culprits.
I fear that things may get a lot worse (already seeing more Anthrax cases), and the full brunt of American anger would result in a total and complete annihilation of the sand goblins who are responsible. But diversity is good, and we can't have that, so the liberals need to find scapegoats so that the war overseas will not be fully prosecuted.

This is Barbra Steisand. With an emphasis on the Streisand.
This is part of a transparent attempt to divide this nation against itself. It seems to be having some success, judging from the reaction right here in River City.
Free Republic is turning into Panic Town, USA. We need to cut this out. We're being silly.

Me and my other 2A buddies were wondering if Bin Laden could induce homegrown dissension by having one of his lunatics get loose with an "ugly gun." I sense the gun grabbers would go hog wild at least at the state level if not at Shumer's hands.

The current domestic terrorist threat primarily comes from right-wing extremist groups, including radical paramilitary (militia) groups, Puerto Rican terrorist groups, and special interest groups. Special interest groups? Like the ACLU, or the Rainbow Coalition, or VPC, or the Brady Center, or the DNC? Groups that have their hand out for socialist redistribution schemes and who want us to live our lives in harmony and peace, as long as we do it their way?
What a load of tripe. The FBI and the government is absolutely terrified over this anthrax distribution...it means someone has it, it is viable, and they can tie this country up in knots for years by sending it piecemeal through our own mail system. No, it isn't coming from domestic sources, unless you count in country terrorist cells.

No buddies of ours are sending anthrax, no matter who they are.
(Methinks you are going to be voted off in the next round)
