This lying scumbag claimed to be a Navy SEAL. I'm glad he's doing some jail time, although his punishment should be stiffer. This guy should be dropped into the middle of a Navy SEAL reunion. They'd know what to do with him.

Lying about being in the military is one thing, but lying about being in the SEALS is just downright low.

If you here someone in a bar bragging that they are a SEAL, they are most likely lying.

Oh, I'm sure there will be one or two ex-SEALS in prison. He'll get his.

Agreed, this guy is a puke.

And, if a guy is being a loud bragger about his SEAL exploits, I'd bet he is a liar.

I doubt that. Any man who has the intelligence, fortitude and endurance to making through SEAL training is unlikely to do something stupid enough to land him in jail.

You are right about their integrity, I used to assist these guys while I was in the Navy. Great bunch of guys, honorable to the man. And I admit I couldn't become half the man they are. But with the way people are hauled off to jail now days, I'm sure there are a few somewhere in jail (probably on BS charges).

He'll start talking $hit when he gets there, and Leroy or Bubba will make him their bitch.

Dick Marcinco, founder of SeAL Team 6, did a stint in federal prison.

Since you are an actual former SEAL I thought you'd want to see this.

Lying about being in the military is one thing,

Lying about serving your country (PERIOD) when you did not is disgusting. Many of us gave up 4 years of our LIVES for this great nation. Many of our brothers gave their lives in service, something they can never get back.
Screw the two years, put this puke in an open squad bay for 20 minutes and see what happens to him.

Nothing new. If the guy was ever really Sailor of the Year on a carrier, he had enough personality to make a success of himself without pumping up his bio. Kind of a shame, a waste.

What's wrong with being a 4.0 crackerjack sailor, which he had to be to be Sailor of the Year?

"What's wrong with being a 4.0 crackerjack sailor"

I was a 3.8 (at least) GMG3 on my tin can.
The guys not to bright claiming to be a SEAL.
SEALS in my book are the elite of the elite.

Trust me, ten % of any group don't belong there: SEALs, pilots, surgeons, astronauts etc.

Right on. It's bad enough that this guy lied about his military service. But to use it to gain people's trust and steal from them is even worse. This guy should go away for longer than 2 years.

The thing that gets me is that this guy has the potential to be a decent successful guy, but instead he lied, cheated, and stole to get himself a stay at the graybar hotel. What a waste!
