"My God, I've even taught kids how to shoot up properly."The "Safe Drugs" program. (Well, they're going to do it anyway.)

I notice when there's articles like this one about bad priests,it's ok to post it in the regular section, but to post an article about a priest like Fr Capadanno is removed to the "Religion section." It's really kind of disgusting.

A spokesman for the Boston archdiocese, Reverend Christopher Coyne, said the late discovery of the documents was "terribly embarrassing". Well er, yes, fancy that. I might have gone on to say a bit more, but then I am not constrained, nor am I consigned to spin control. Those that are, might consider given their own theology, just might what be their individual fate.

Reverend Paul Shanley, who was involved with the North American Man Boy Love Association which promotes sex between men and children, also suffered from sexually transmitted diseases, he wrote. Well, well, does this say it all. Boston, the City of Tolerance. If the whole city falls into the Bay, they have it coming.

The priest should be in jail. However; the BBC and the country in which it resides, have decided that drug laws are not worth enforcing and their schools teach both "safe sex" and "safe drug use". I would say that the hypocrisy is thick even for the leftists in Great Britain.

How long, oh Lord?

Parents, teach your children-- before someone else does.

Mr Shanley, who is now retired and believed to be living in San Diego, California, has never been charged with abuse and has not spoken publicly since the case began.
It is believed that he has relocated to an unknown adress in Thailand.

Oh, so you too have had threads exiled to the
Religion Forum ghetto?
Mighty handy to have a hardly viewed subsection where they can banish threads that assault the irreligious sensitivities of some of our fellow FReepers, no? Welcome to the FRee Republic Religion Forum ghetto.
But don't accept your exile. Break out: Catholic Caucus: Internet Apologetics and the law of diminishing returns

IMHO, this comes under the heading of breaking news. Hopefully, this will all be resolved soon and articles like this will slip off the radar screen.
In the meantime, I want to hear breaking news - no matter what or whomever it involves. This mess should be resolved ASAP.

Well, they're going to do it anyway. That's no excuse!

Thank you for the link! I'll check it out tomorrow. My eyes are so tired. And speaking of tired, I don' know about anybody else, but I am sick and tired of hearing about scandals involving priests! Where are they digging these people up? After 20-30 years! Why did they wait so long? I really don't believe half of them. It's a media driven story to try and topple the Catholic Church.Little do they know that if that arch heretic,Luther couldn't do it,the pathetic media sure won't.We have Our Lord's words that His Church will prevail.

Pssst...I was using sarcasm.

Quit the church and read the bible.....interpret it as you will.
There's a hell of a lot less overhead.
